Singapore's transport system (bus and train) is also well developed so that people do not need to buy cars to get around the country. One more point is that everything (food centres, supermarkets, laundry, sports facilities etc) is within walking distance.

I want to see a community spring up that uses a photobioreactor as its lighting system for public spaces that would be great

This is definitely a huge area for conservation to focus on. Green, not grey!

People don’t drive cars because they want to purposely destroy the environment though.
For many it is the only way to run a successful business or transport their family across long distances at convenient times.
All of the zero emissions policies at current hurt the poorest worst. I’m sure people who can afford a Tesla will be fine.

    Modern architecture is vile

It's literally the backdrop of our lives. Building cheap architecture may save money, but over time it costs our souls.

Stop lying about urban farming. There are plenty of things that CANNOT BE GROWN in vertical urban container farms. Grains, sunflowers, apples, etc.

No it can be done - but with wheat for example, it takes quite a lot of energy, but you get very good yields.

@@LeaveCurious they could even use solar panels to make the urban farms use eco-friendly energy

You don’t need to be able to grow everything in vertical farms as you would have traditional farms alongside vertical farms but the big aim with vertical farms is to make us sustainable with out needing to mass import food from abroad but vertical farms would definitely open the possibility to grow foods that can not be grown in are climate

@@hmalik5232 It would really depend on the vertical farms as there many different types of vertical farm depending if the crop can be grown in are climate and also depending if it is fully automated
