Cool trucks...cool parts...cool breakfast 🍳 😎
Absolutely badass video guys 💪👍
Great video guys, love the work y’all are doing! Keep up the good work, the industry needs more innovators like y’all! I’ll see you when I break my new 68!
Best video I think so far. Great contents guys. Oh and congrats on the win. 🤘🏻
work in progress gotta pay to play at least it's not destroyed and congrats on the win!!
Nice Job firepunk crew!
Good to see you guys out! Hope to see y'all sooner then later. Rudy's would be great, but gonna be hard....
Great video coverage !!!
I love the videos guys!
Im very optimistic and opinionated but I like your direction.. Pro-mod 88/84 w 117.6 ind. Maybe a better option. Seems like it lighting is to aggressive or the tune-up is to hot. Gt5533r are more sensitive with larger amounts of fuel. I'm sure you'll figure it out your knowledge and team are top notch. 💪
The 102 compressor just seems to take a lot of rpm to make reasonable amount of power during staging, we were 38psi at 3800rpm with the 102 and it left extremly soft with a 1.21 60', then only made 69psi peak spraying it hard and mph was down to 150mph. Put the 88mm back on and at 3400rpm it makes 39psi, leaves hard, makes 90psi and we've been 169mph on it. We might just keep the 88mm and wastegate the turbine side to control shaft speed since its working so well. We also have a 94mm Precision and a 91mm GT55 we want to try.
What's the new weight of the truck? "Once again just my opinion"... You'll probably like the 88 better verses 91 and 94 with spool and staging (converter temps). 3800 1.21 at 40 psi is the converter tight?
Did you figure it out?
Can we get more info on the water meth
This is water/meth injection via a pressurized nitrous bottle and solenoid, we inject it in the pipe in place of an intercooler to control intake air temps
@@FirepunkDiesel are you using a standard nitrous solenoid and nozzle
@@user-el4ii7zq6l no and yes :). the first pass was using the water/meth nozzles that NX sold us that have special seals in them that don't corrode with methanol, we didn't have nearly enough water to keep intake temps cool. So we swapped on an NX 375 solenoid in place and it fixed our flow issue, but we know we'll ruin the solenoid since its not methanol resistant. NX is building us custom 375 solenoids this week to work with the water/meth.
Thanks for all the information and great videos
Is a 6.7 rail swap worth the cost on a 5.9 Cummins. The truck has a build list with receipts for a lot of stuff. It is down on fuel and air compared to what the truck could do. I’m probably gunna swap a set of 100% over into and a rail swap if it’ll help fuel flow. It has an energy sportsman 5.9/6.7 cp3 on it now with Airdog 220
The rail swap will not increase power below 1500hp
Firepunk Diesel thank you for helping me save money! I’m Gunn’s he getting it tuned through you guys, that’s for sure. What kinda numbers can a sportsman cp3 from exergy produce
Depends on the injectors, but we've done 700hp with 100% overs, a sportsman pump and 67mm turbo
Firepunk Diesel was it 700 absolute max? The truck had a shaved crank .10, gorilla girdle with arp studs on main bearings and 625 studs, 110 valve springs, 100hp injectors, sportsman cp3, triple disc torque converter with Georend internals, bored .40 over, mahle coated pistons, Carrillo rods(I believe), 6.7 connector tubes, 2nd gen swap with fleece 63mm(this is getting changed immediately as it whistles a whole bunch but runs exactly like the stock turbo. Pushrods aswell. I’m missing some things obviously.
Maybe I missed it but are you guys running stock a transmission case?
No this is a sfi Reid case
DW, So help me out here. What trans can handle this kind of power? Just new to that kinda diesel power, thanks.
So that nozzle went through the motor if I heard that right, any plans to pull the head or are you assuming it passed without an issue?
It's off and we're looking at it right now, we have #6 piston out to clean it up, the head needs a few valves and a valve job
Firepunk Diesel that’s a bummer but awesome pass considering the motor was hurt. Can’t wait to see what y’all squeeze out if it this season.
Whos driving the s10
First like 😬👍
