Why did Morgan retire? Or was he forced to do that? He's still at the top of giving. Especially since he was not charged with anything... I hope he comes back soon. He's a magician.
Hi Pamela... Vanessa no longer skates for France. She and Morgan are no longer partners. France released her after she came out of retirement in April 2021. She now skates for Canada with pairs skater Eric Radford and they are aiming for the 2022 Olympics. Vanessa lives in Canada and Morgan lives in his home country of France. He no longer skates and is now a property realtor. Vanessa and Morgan are No more. 😔 As skating partners they are now consigned to skating history. I wish Vanessa all the best and much success going forward. The same wishes to Morgan for good things in his life.

How could they possibly return. Shows..not competition? They were definitely the best!!! It appears they were planning retirement for awhile, especially after covid 19, and being in different countries. The scandal hurt..but the pandemic finalized ending their partnership. He sent very sweet messages to Vanessa re battle of the blades and for her birthday. But it appears she has truly moved on with her professional and personal life. They announced the day after her birthday, so the announcement was planned, and she made no reference to him at all for months, as if they are no longer even communicating. What could he do to mend their connection? I can think of nothing but time and the true strength of their 10 years together will reunite them, and that could take years. If they truly loved one another..this is a true tradgedy. If the facts of the scandal are distorted..it doesn't matter. He is ruined. She can hopefully survive as a single performer and he can fight for his survival professionally and personally with the support of family and friends,. but without his heart and soul Vanessa. We must keep them both in our prayers. Should a foolish mistake in a person's youth define the remainder of their life. I would love to get comments from you guys.

The scandel didn't have to play out in the public after these many years, we don't know the facts. Then again the retirement might have been in the works. I saw a picture were Morgan said he would have to start all over again and Vanessa replying that's what I like to hear. We the fans are at a loss they were like fire and ice. Were we blind to the passion and love that emitted on and off the ice? I hope time will heal the hurts and they continue to stay in touch yes we all must move on with our live but as I said and feel in my heart they seem to be soulmates and that bond will be very hard to sever. May God bless them on their journey thru life and as I say you never know.
