Though the design examples mentioned in this lecture are based on Australian Standards AS3600, the fundamental design concepts will be applicable anywhere.

    Dear sir, the deflection what you are calculated using those elastic euations does it for ultimate load (Pu), then how should we calculate deflection at yield load. Can you suggest any reference book where these calculations are given for RC beams, direct link would be much better sir, thank you.
