My thought concerning the lack of an 88 hamerweighted [HWKD] Genos keybeds. The lack of it presents a... unique opportunity. MIDI in your own special and well-chosen HWKD ... I do not like the HMKDs that come with some boards. Either too tiring or not dynamic enough. One of my choicest is the kawaii ES portables ... a smooth, buttery keybed. So it's an extra board ... yet your hands may like this option. Ultimate dynamics on the APS and EPS. Improved expression just using the semi weight of the buttery feel on Genos less tiring keybed for other voices. I didn't enjoy the semi weight on the Korg's. [too stiff me.]. Nor the HMKD of the korg 88 much too stiff for me. Generally, I enjoy the other aspects of both boards. Yet, we have to take care of our hands-fingers-ligaments of the years of playing.
I’m looking for a ...small -sized...portable sound system for both my Genos and Korg arrangers. Something with full frequencies that is adequate for home-studio practice ... as well as ... medium size venues. Neither the Genos MS01 nor the Korgs onboard attached sound system is acceptable for my use. Both have limited and less robust frequencies. Any suggestions are greatly helpful. I have considered the QSC K8.2s, but they might be a bit too space divisionally large for my home use. Yet, perhaps they are one answer. Thank-you for your suggestions.
@@richievpiano I use a Behringer K450FX The 45-Watt ULTRATONE K450FX excels as an extraordinarily-versatile keyboard and drum amplifier, as well as a high-quality 3-channel Public Address (PA) system, with a world-class, 10" Bugera Speaker - all in one compact and easy-to-transport package. Specializing in rich, accurate tone and professional features, such as a studio-grade Multi-FX Processor and our own FBQ Feedback Detection System, this powerful workhorse will bring out the best in your performance gig after gig. Roland has some other cool similar products. Mine is 6 or 7 years old and still strong.
Hi phill - if you say they are high priced - what should I do ?- I need best sounds and best rhythms and I was leaning on these - but you say they are over priced - can you suggest a keyboard with best rhythms and a keyboard with best sounds( like triton).PS Iam a one man band
Hi there @messengersofmessiahpastorn7518! Price is relative. If I had a spare 7K, no harm in having one of these, but for me, my needs are different and I like using either VSTs or multiple keyboards. Which Genre(s) do you play? Sounds like the portability is important to you?
@messengersofmessiahpastorn - Price is relative, I think other keyboards like the current Montage from Yamaha or the older KORGS (88 Keys) were more solid. From another point of view. if this was for a religious establishment where there is no other musician, I would most likely go for a DGX 670 or some of the older KORG 88 key keyboards. I need a SOLID Piano with 88 keys. The beats in the DGX are enough but again, it depends on the genre. Also for LIVE play I prefer SIMPLE easy to access voices and styles. The voices mean little if people are singing along and drowning it out. The feel and energy become more important. Let me know the setting and perhaps I can better advice. Cheers!
@@phillcGlad you replied and asked for my settings. I am a one man band and pastor catering a 1000 members church, running 3 shifts, in India. We are planning on upgrading our instrument. I am using sx 900 from past 5 years with every expansion pack in the world ( made a few my self) but since we are upgrading it I am leaning towards pa 5x because of the plethora of Indian expansion packs available in the market. This is the entire story! I will also use another midi keyboard for mainstage vst sounds but the rhythms will be from arranger. Kindly suggest please. Jesus bless you!
