Shakshuka (or Shakshouka) is a
Traditionally originated in Tunisia, this breakfast recipe is popular in many parts of North Africa, Israel and the Middle East.

Shakshuka is very simple dish which gently porched eggs in a spicy tomato sauce within onion, garlic, bell pepper, traditionally eaten for breakfast and is satisfying and delicious for any meal of the day, serve with

Serve-1 person
Ingredients
-1 whole egg
-1/2 cup store bought pizza sauce/pasta sauce
-1 medium onion chopped
-2 tbsp olive oil
-2 tsp garlic paste
-1 tsp chilli flakes
-1/2 tsp paprika/redmchilli powder powder
-1/2 tsp tomato paste (optional)
-1/2 tsp cumin powder
-salt to taste
-3 tbsp cilantro chopped
-4 tbsp mozzarella
-2 jalapeño
-3 olives
-2 tbsp cheddar cheese
-spinach leaves (3)
Method
-Heat olive oil in a pan on a medium heat add chopped onion sauté for 5 minutes until onion becomes translucent
-Pour pasta/pizza sauce, garlic paste, tomato paste, season with salt , chilli flakes, black pepper and bring the sauce to a simmer (sauce should be thick to support the egg)
-Transfer all to a bowl for steaming mix cut spinach leaves, mix more mozzarella cheese mix
-Use a spoon and make small well in the sauce (in the middle)and crack an egg into each well
-Cover & cooke an egg 5-6 minutes or until egg is done or depend on how you like them firm, or just set or yolks are perfectly runny
-Garnish with jalapeños, olives, cut sausage, Grated chacheese, mozzarella
-Serve with toasted bread and avocado on side.
