"Policy of Truth" is a song from 1990 by Depeche Mode from their album Violator
original OST by www.blitzberlinmusic.com/ - Видеоклипы
For those asking me to put this on spotify/itunes/etc: I can't, since I don't own the rights to this song.
Depeche/Sony are the only ones that can put it out there.
I guess the same is true for the Blitz-Berlin version as used in the OST of death on the nile
Dude… you killed it. Recreated a masterpiece and somehow made it even better. So chill yet so haunting in a way. Keep doing your thing brother.
Brilliant!!!!
Maybe it would be an idea to call it differently on Spotify and put the name here, if anybody who interested will find it
(If there is no copyright recognized on the sound itself)
And by the way, may I use it in my video as the background music?
(If RUclips won’t copyright it 😂)
Killing it . I love it. It's a shame to not have it on Spotify
The way you did this is perfect👏
I had no interest in this film until this trailer. This mix is straight fire.
No other movie franchise seems quite as aesthetically pleasing though. They really nail the visuals. That’s what I’m sold on.
Great remix, and a true homage to the original. This is one of the best uses of the increasingly popular trend involving sampling an 80s legend. They did Depeche mode right with this one, and made it their own all in one fell swoop. Nice work!
increasingly popular for the last 30 yrs bruh
Gen-x and older millennials getting into decision making positions allows for this. That and with streaming its as profitable to play an old song as it is a brand new one. Benefits of that is it lets you do these awesome remixes
@@Year2047 I am a genx-er. My mother had me young, and was in HS in the 80s. I was raised on Depeche Mode, and loads of 80s music in general, so I see nothing wrong with the younger generation holding the creativity that loads of 80s bands in general, had during that time period. Furthermore, I have a half decent music pedigree all the way to performing in Carnegie Hall when I was in a University chorus when I was 15, thus I'm confident in my assertion that displaying aptitude in forming new musical arrangements whilst utilizing familiar music, in no way lessens their work, as I feel you just implied... New arrangements for old pieces are nothing new in the music world, and I feel that the majority of EDM artists get a bad rep. It is rudimentary music composure utilizing modern tech, and familiarity to reach consumers, and in this modern information revolution we are a part of it is savvy, to say the least. I've taken plenty of music theory, and you won't catch me devalueing their work at all
Honestly, I can't get over how great this is. I remember hearing a snippet of it when the movie trailer came out. Listening to the full version is just unbelievable. Remixes of DM rarely do the songs justice. This is one of the very rare exceptions in my humble opinion. Restrained with the perfect balance of original elements and new. With a haunting, foreboding atmosphere that feels authentically DM, without being derivative in any way.
Besides this, my favorite DM remix is the "Club69" remix of "It's no good"
I literally started screaming when I heard this in the trailer - so excited that this underrated banger is blowing up
This song is far from "underrated" literally like most of gen X and Y love this song
Depeche mode. The greatest band in the world😍😍😍
This is such an amazing version! A more modern take on this already amazing song!
FINALLY! I waiting for that version whole f*** year....
Fell in love with the movie from the preview. As soon as I heard the lyrics I knew immediately it was the great Depeche Mode!
That beat is so imposing and powerful, DM is thinking why didn't we do this. Great rendition.
Grandiose! Sombre et tragique à souhait, j'adore. Du grand Depeche mode...
Brilliant. One of the best DM remixes to date
The same way Eric Prydz brought Personal Jesus in 2011. Rocked the whole dance world
Honestly the song themes and the movies go hand in hand, I always saw it as a lie in relationships either friends or something more but they put it on a murder boat movie and damn does it sync
This sounds like something that would be on an official single that includes remixes, I was immediately in love the moment I heard this in the theater. I hope this is uploaded to spotify or other music streaming services, it definitely deserves a wider audience. 👍
Loving this version so much - an homage to the original yet with a wonderful modern take. Awesome work!!
Brilliant combination of Depeche and earlier Nine Inch Nails in my honest opinion. Very dark and foreboding with a hint of This Mortal Coil thrown in there. Simply brilliant…thank you…
Get behind the wheel and blast this policy of truth! Excellent remix!
This is one of my favorite songs from the 80s. I was a teenager then, and have fond memories of the time. This version is absolutely outstanding, and is the bolder, more mature, intense version. Fantastic!!
The song came out in the 90s💀
Here, after the trailer, lovely!
great great remix, Depeche Mode should promote this, so so good
This version is amazing!
A feast for my eyes and ears. Stunning!
I love Depeche Mode so much! Was so excited when I heard this on the trailer!! This is a great remix for a great song.
This mix more "depeche mode" than original track
This remix is superb.
The crescendos and decrescendos are perfect
A shame this isn't available on Itunes or you would've had my money for sure.
This movie was incredible.
Man, this is an absolutely amazing remix of a classic. Way better than some band re-doing it for today......it pays homage to the original mix but is redone in a really, really cool way.
I was at the movies, going to see the new spider-man, good movie by the way, and this trailer came on, I HAD to find the song because it sounded soooo good
Honestly your mix/remix of the song for the movie is so surreal. I love it
pls upload this to spotify it's too epic to not listen on a daily basis
7” remix, unpredictable & out the box👍🏻
I watched the trailer many times only to listen this awesome remix🔥 waiting for it on streaming platform😔

Depeche Mode forever:)The director also knew what music came with the trailer!

This remix is an absolute killer! ⛴⚓🍾🥂🔪😵
Policy of Truth is my favorite DM song of all time. It's great to see it get back into the mainstream again thanks to your remix for the movie
Super musique
Honestly, better then the original.
Agreed, I always wanted the original to have more weight, more bass, and this is perfect!
NO. and it’s than.
This moment, when trailer better than movie...
Awesome 👏🏻😉👍
Sick, one of the best DM remixes in the last 30 years, better than most of named track and Enjoy The Silence. Same bpm but more soundscapes, resonating rhythm, and great resampled lyrics
Very nice remix 🌹👍🌹
Very good. Wish it were longer.
Got to love depeche mode
saw the trailer, but felt for the song! spotify please!
Still awesome seeing Depeche Mode in films more. Maybe I've just never seen movies or trailers with music but damn I love anytime there is. Ghost in the shell 2017 Enjoy the Silence. Murder on the Nile Policy of truth 2022
Fantastic Remix 🔝video 👏👏👏
Great movie. I kinda feel nostalgic watching this
Such a good job! Thank you so much!
Nice remix!
The music fits this theme.
I think it would be a good OST.👌
Good job! 👍
So True👍
This is so good! Why isn’t it on Apple music yet?
Edit: I now know why it isn’t on Apple Music yet.
Incredible.
Wish this was on Spotify, I like this one more than the original
Ponelo en Spotify !!lo quiero en mi playlist
I guess every gal gadot movie is now promoted with Depeche Mode and I’m ok with it lol
excellent !
Thank you for this brother!
Grew up listening to D Mode. This might be the best remix of POT I’ve heard. Very cool.
That most super popular beat sample used all around the planet:) Depeche used it themselves in "Never Let Me Down Again", 1987. Hahah
So looking forward to seeing this!
Super!
I love this song.
J adore....
🥵 this remix 🔥
Go watch this movie it’s pretty good 11/10 would highly recommend
Excelente grandioso magnífico con el soundtrack Policy of true de Depeche Mode.
Hi Eric, The first 32 seconds are impressive!
🇪🇦👍👍👍🙈🙉🙈🖤💜🖤
Espectacular remix!!! 😊 ☃️🎄🎅
Great remix, chapeau!
Amazing video
I wish this was on Spotify…
Need this in my library
Very good!
Not perfect, but absolutely the right thing to use Gahan's original (voice) version. Having had no interest in this film, the song alone makes me curious to watch this.
Dope!
Badass remix.
Dave,your voice......🤗🥰👌⚛
I agree Dam good remix
Close enough but thank you!
Класс 👍
that is extremely cool remixx!!!!!
Incra Deeble
I saw the movie just to listen Depeche Mode song but there was no DM song...only on the trailer...damn!
Идеально👌💗💓
Pls be on Spotify 🤩
Can someone notify me when he finally puts this on Spotify? 😩
This is great! We just need extended remix with more variation 🤠
I just can't get enough of this Remix.
Soooo powerful.. honestly, it gives me goosebumps every time I play it.
Fits so well to this movie trailer..
Btw, was the remix made for the trailer or the other way round?? What came first? The trailer or the remix 🤔
DM 4EVR 🌹🖤
❤❤❤❤
I watched the trailer and was trying to guess the song bcuz at first iwas thinking it was tears for fears and even after it played(very, very slowly!) I thought it was Spandau Ballet or some one of those bands but then i knew it was Depeche Mode. Its a haunting twist kinda freaked me out but really cool sounding.
