In an ancient African village, a prosperous king's son insults a witch who then steals his soul, rendering him unconscious. The village falls into despair until the king proclaims that only seven virgins can enter the evil forest to retrieve the soul enclosed in an egg. Amaka, one of the virgins, embarks on this perilous journey. Facing numerous challenges, the virgins perish one by one, leaving Amaka to endure alone. Guided by twin spirits, she finds the soul at a mystical river and safely returns it to the prince, restoring him to life. The village rejoices, and Amaka marries the prince, becoming a celebrated heroine.
