No buddy... kotlin flows, coroutines are kotlin and android specific . Rxjava is implementation of rx project in java... many different languages like python , Javascript swift has their own implementation of rx project. Rx terminology is same across different languages. So rx is a sort of Swiss knife. But it has steep learning curve . ......all the best
