I loved this so much. It reminded me of Reveal (not musically, but like the energy), but it sounds totally different to prevous releases. I totally get what you mean, brand new but inarguably them. I saw another reactor mention it reminding them of Exo - Love Shot, and I instantly agreed. Not so much musically or whatever, but THE VIBES.
you know, I feel like I'm always obsessed with comebacks that are dark/have themes of temptation, seriously. the religious imagery, the queer coded songs, the atmosphere - always hits differently.
When I listen to this song it truly feels so purposely restrained - and I mean that in the best way possible! Like, you can just *feel* the absolute power lying just beneath the surface throughout the song and then it fully unleashes in that dance break and last chorus and I'M OBSESSED
The MV is insane and really adds a lot of life to the song, which is otherwise kinda chill! :D Love those night photography shots that make them look like wild animals when caught on camera ;o

yes yes yes! this definitely gave me vibes of 2nd/3rd gen. The boyz are my ult boy group (im primarily a girl group fan) but i havent vibed as much with their past few releases, it feels great to love a tt of theirs from first listen again :) thanks for the reaction!
i’m only watching this reaction now but i realized during it that this song could very easily be interpreted as a queer story as they talk about how by chasing after this person they turned their back on an easy and perfect life, but they are free because of it. i know it is very very likely that isn’t the case but either way it can still be applied and that makes me really happy.
