Whenever a genre incorporates a panoply of styles and sounds we usually term that as "fusion". So this would be Glitch Fusion imo...... and the best I have heard. Definitely hitch-hiking to this.
Just to clarify: This is Glitch. It's refered as "Glitch-Hop" because of the hiphop-ish breakbeats. Artists like Kraddy and Prefuse 73 make the same kind of music too. Glitch-Mob is a trio formed by edIT, Ooah and Boreta, and formerly Kraddy, who's one of the founding members. Glitch Mob IS NOT a genre, and Glitch-Hop has nothing to do with Breakcore. About edIT, this song and this album, COPFNR is, hands down, one of the best albums ever conceived by Man.
@Ganthir I would say just it is not easy to create those beats, and scratches and combine it with melody which gives soul to this track. It's not simple house or techno beats, so i believe people who name ,thought that it is not easy to create such tracks .
@Njonair Incorrect lol. infact like every artist out there dislikes it being called intelligent dance music, or IDM and just refer to it as electronica/glitch. lol

the glitch-mob is name of artist ,but glitch-hop or glitchstep is the genre of music. In my opinion i want to tagging this is other type of creating music. Not more. If you don belive it, just hear out Prety Lights ;) :D
