This video is about God Sees the Truth but waits from NEB's Grade 11 English course section "Literature. Leo Tolstoy's short story "God Sees the Truth, But Waits" was first published in 1872. It tells the story of a man who was sent to prison for a murder he did not commit, a parable about forgiveness. [1] English translations were published under titles such as "The Confessed Crime", "Exiled to Siberia", and "The Long Exile". One of Tolstoy's previous works, War and Peace, also mentions the story of a man wrongfully accused and banished to Siberia during a philosophical discussion between two characters who relate the story and argue how the protagonist of their story deals with injustice and fate.

after reading this chapter some question arises in my mind...was it okay what happens with aksionov ?? was it okay that even though he was innocent he was in prison for 26 yrs he prayed to god but it was too late till god could actually do smth and at last without doing any crime he get punished and died..
