It's hard, I always fear the opportunity although I denied my fear and took a chance, I ignore my fear because it's from satan because he doesn't want the word around.
Yep, but remember that you are doing her a favour by sharing Jesus so she can be saved, remember that you are doing it for her own good, and that she may thank you later for it.
I'm fearful of preaching to my best friend and cousins as I fear they will judge me but I know God tells us people will judge but yesterday I was able to share some of my beliefs with my friend and he seemed much closer to believing than I though absolutely filled me with hope God has been giving me many signs as of late

I've almost finished studying through the Bible, which has enabled me to get into really good discussions with my peers at school, and to spread the gospel with them. I know only one other christian in my school so we do rely on each other a lot for support and prayer, but God really has given me this great opportunity to share the gospel with those around me. I'm 57, and I can honestly tell you that EVERY bad thing in my life happened because of my lack of commitment, asking, and then listening to what my Father in heaven would tell me to do!! Thank you for this message. I'm asking everyone to please pray for me and my family, My twin sister has left the Lord, our home, our church and came out as a homosexual. She is really blinded right now, she says she still loves the lord, but she doesn't seek him or obey him. She grew up in church so she knows the truth, she just doesn't believe it anymore. She wouldn't talk or come around our family for a while because she was scared of how we would react, but shes started talking to us again, I don't know what to say to her, I don't want to push her away, I haven't brought up her sinful life because of fear I'll drive her away, but when I stay silent I feel like I'm letting her believe a lie and go to hell. Please pray I have wisdom to share the simplicity of the gospel with her, I know God can and will forgive her and save her, if she'll let him. Pray her eyes and heart are open to hear from God. Please don't keep quiet, she might understand it as acceptance of her lifestyle. Talk to your sister and tell her that you will always love her, no matter what, but that you do not agree with her homosexuality. Do not nag her because it will drive her away, but let her know you are always there for when she has questions or when she need a shoulder to cry on. Then be an example to her of what a Daughter of the King is like. In a world full of evil your holiness will not go unnoticed. Good luck and I'll be praying for you both!

I will always remember hearing a woman tell a story on the radio. When she was a college student, alone in a new town, a young Christian couple invited her to their home for dinner. With a small baby, their house was a mess and the meal was simple, but this woman years later still recalled how welcome they made her feel. How they loved her and were kind and hospitable to her during a lonely time in her life. We are not perfect, but God chooses to use us to spread His love anyway! Don’t be afraid to reach out to others even when you don’t feel “good enough.”
I use my testimony to talk about Jesus and I pray about it. Usually they will bring it up and I give God the glory! My family is the hardest. Please pray for them.

I have another one to add if I may: be led by the Spirit. Everyone is so different. I tried the bravery thing with two cousins and was rejected. So now for them, I just pray for an opportunity for me or someone else to deliver the Good News to them. Also, it's harder when they believe a false gospel, like my cousins. They won't want to hear that they are wrong about their beliefs in God
Nunya we are all members of the same body, each with a different purpose. God made us to be different and not everyone is good at preaching... if your strong point is to minister to kids or to pray for others then that is what you do! That said, we are not to shy away and say it isn't our job when we are in a situation where we should talk about Jesus. He put us in that situation and He will give us the strength and wisdom to handle it.
Yes, I prayed like this recently for the opportunity to talk about the gospel with my sister, and of course it naturally came up in conversation a but later. But pray they will see the gospel in another place then with you too.
(In relation to example 3) I went to a gospel concert with my mother last night, because I know she likes the genre. I saw both praise hands and tears. That warmed my heart so much 😍 she is going through a lot at the time, and she isn’t exactly a believer, but I see her posting faith-related stuff on Facebook, and I’ve been asked to pray for her. There is still hope for another soul to be saved 🙌🏻

I have often wondered why "born again " Christians would tell their friends like me, " I can't be around you anymore, I'm a Christian now ". Boy, does that hurt you. So now I'm beneath my friends and not good enough to learn about Jesus too ? I have often wondered why they didn't invite me instead of pushing me away. I'm guessing that they can't handle more than one friendship at a time or that they are jealous and worried that Jesus will love you too? I finally reunited with one person who became a Christian, specifically a Jehovah's Witness . I was very surprised and happy. Honestly, I feel embarrassed by the thought that I am openly sharing the gospel, my testimonies, my walk thru Christ, having a deep conversation about Jesus Christ and all, but when it comes to talking all these to my family I chicken out. But I believe God showed me this video for a purpose. Thanks Joe. I am trying to think of ways to share with my wife’s family. They are the kind of sort who believe they are Christian but I don’t see any fruit. They think the church is full of hypocrites so they don’t want to go. I get so nervous about bringing up the topic in person that I once wrote them an evangelical letter instead hoping that it would spark a conversation later on. They sent me a a polite text but not much came out of it. I know I’ll need to be brave as you suggest. It’s just hard because the relationship between my wife and her parents is a little tender. I hope we both will find ways to share with them and her siblings.

It’s my Grandma Carmen‘s birthday this Saturday. She’s on my dad side and I really didn’t know her very much grown up we’ve only talked a few times, last time we spoke was Mother’s Day a few days ago, and spoken to her since I was little and I said happy Mother’s Day and she actually told me she love me. She’s from the Caribbean so she’s kind of hard, but I really want to share with her the gospel because no one else her family to me seems like they have, and the fruits of her life tell me that she’s not saved. I really just want to make sure because my dad keeps telling me she has health problems, and she’s turning 87 this Saturday. It’s hard because I don’t want her to get upset, and because she’s a Caribbean woman she’s just kind of intimidating, I also don’t want my dad getting upset with me for talking to her about those things.I’m 17. The end of the day it’s not about me.Please pray for me and her, and my dad on that side of the family.

To my brother in Christ in this video. For me I think the hardest is sharing the gospel with family members. I have a brother that has a hard eggshell to crack open. I talked to him many times about the Lord about salvation through Jesus Christ through God's grace and his mercy and his love that he has upon us. But I need to remember I will not force God's word on a family member stranger or friend.

I say when you meet someone new or even come across any opportunity to share it (like the comment section to videos or anything), make it a habit of the gospel being the first thing you say! Like that you don’t feel guilty for not sharing it and pushing it off for the “right time”. I get that it can be scary to be different but we aren’t even called to be of this world. You can do this. I’m literally 15 years old. Sure I lost a lot of friends and I still struggle with doing everything I know I’m supposed to, but God is our Lord. We shouldn’t be afraid of anyone or anything! I pray for the persecuted! We are not alone in our time of struggle. Praise God Amen!!!!

I have been told to stop talking about Jesus to my family....but my nephew is getting married next month and they have a Metis indigenous background. I did a little research to find that last fall there was an First Nations version Bible published. I looked it up and it looks absolutely beautiful a translation that was overseen by countless different tribes in North America. I bought a copy to give to them as a wedding gift do you think I am overstepping my boundaries because I've been told to keep Jesus out of our relationships? I feel very strong with the Lord has guided me to discover this book and pressed upon me to give it to them.

My kids are early 20's, my siblings & my parents all believe are once saved always saved, but make no time or effort to live for Jesus. One of my siblings & her significant other (they now have a 3 year old) & his family claim to be Atheists or Agnostics. None of them want to hear anything. My Agnostic sister believes something created everything & it was a higher being, but not God. She likes to argue about anything & everything. I get she wants to be acknowledged & heard, but it's hard to have a real conversation with her. And my in-laws all came from a Catholic upbringing, but I don't know how to know they're saved? I believe a lot of my avoidance is my own fear of rejection. I can get past that, but I really feel like I've already lost so many of my family because I'm I'm following what God wants me to. Please pray for me to have Jesus' boldness & for opportunities to present themselves as well as un-hardening of hearts. There is so much hurt & unforgiveness in our family, it's hard to get on a "real" level past the masks with anyone.

Thank you! I find it hard to share the Gospel with my son, but your encouragement gives me new hope! Yes, we do not want to be rejected, and we cannot cope with their aggression! But, in Christ, in prayer, I will try again!
I have often wondered why "born again " Christians would tell their friends like me, " I can't be around you anymore, I'm a Christian now ". Boy, does that hurt you. So now I'm beneath my friends and not good enough to learn about Jesus too ?
I have often wondered why they didn't invite me instead
of pushing me away. I'm guessing that they can't handle more than one friendship at a time or that they are jealous and worried that Jesus will love you too?
I finally reunited with one person who became a Christian, specifically a Jehovah's Witness .
I was very surprised and happy. Not only was she on a better road in life, she was inviting her friends and family to join her.
Well that is a beginning.

I am so full of guilt, shame and hatred for my cowardice ways, I’m always praying for Him to make me brave and bold and on fire for the lost. I am glad that I HATE that I am this way and want it to change but it stinks…. I just want to be bold!

I thought I'm the only one having this struggle. Honestly, I feel embarrassed by the thought that I am openly sharing the gospel, my testimonies, my walk thru Christ, having a deep conversation about Jesus Christ and all, but when it comes to talking all these to my family I chicken out.
But I believe God showed me this video for a purpose. I thank Him for using you and having this courage I am feeling now that when the moment came, I am sure that I will be able to talk to my family now, anything about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks Joe. I am trying to think of ways to share with my wife’s family. They are the kind of sort who believe they are Christian but I don’t see any fruit. They think the church is full of hypocrites so they don’t want to go. I get so nervous about bringing up the topic in person that I once wrote them an evangelical letter instead hoping that it would spark a conversation later on. They sent me a a polite text but not much came out of it. I know I’ll need to be brave as you suggest. It’s just hard because the relationship between my wife and her parents is a little tender. I hope we both will find ways to share with them and her siblings.

Mr. Joe Kirby for honestly I preached the gospel to my mom and it makes me sad that she believes in Jesus as Lord and Savior but she is not interested to read the Bible. For honestly that's one of the reasons I'm asking you to help me to pray to God a strong prayer to give a strong miracle to make my mom repent all her sins, accept Jesus Christ as true Lord and Savior and convince her to read the Bible. For honestly I have no strength to do this because I'm still living in sin and I hope you will read my comment here and comments I have made in your page in RUclips.
It’s my Grandma Carmen‘s birthday this Saturday. She’s on my dad side and I really didn’t know her very much grown up we’ve only talked a few times, last time we spoke was Mother’s Day a few days ago, and spoken to her since I was little and I said happy Mother’s Day and she actually told me she love me. She’s from the Caribbean so she’s kind of hard, but I really want to share with her the gospel because no one else her family to me seems like they have, and the fruits of her life tell me that she’s not saved. I really just want to make sure because my dad keeps telling me she has health problems, and she’s turning 87 this Saturday. It’s hard because I don’t want her to get upset, and because she’s a Caribbean woman she’s just kind of intimidating, I also don’t want my dad getting upset with me for talking to her about those things.I’m 17. The end of the day it’s not about me.Please pray for me and her, and my dad on that side of the family.

My family members. Help me please :( I've been struggling so much
1. I feel like every time I attempt, they're gonna oppose me or seems they're not gonna listen. I'm not scared to be ridiculed but I don't want to argue with my parents or brother. (Honor thy father and mother. Do not instigate war.)
2. Sometimes, I just don't know the proper words to say.
Maybe ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. You could also pray for opportunities you to spread the Gospel to them :)

I have never really shared the gospel with anyone if I'm honest. But God has talked to my life and now I want to be different. I am a Christian but because of problems me and my family walked away from the way of our Lord Jesus. But now I really want to love for him and have a relationship with him. Through some of your very helpful videos I've come to realize how me and my family are lukewarm Christians and I want that to change. I want to help my family get back on track with God and really be a Christian. And also help a family member who refuses to have to do anything to do with God. I really want to share the Word of God and help people. But I need to first help my family

I have to pray for opportunities to share Jesus. Everyone is so busy it can be difficult to find the right moment. However sometimes you just have to dive in and start a conversation. Remember, we are just a messenger.

Great tips Joe!! I find hospitality is the one I do best and the easiest ..I always invite people to eat even my Airbnb paying guests, they really appreciate it..then we pray before the meal and people are surprised! ,😉
To my brother in Christ in this video. For me I think the hardest is sharing the gospel with family members. I have a brother that has a hard eggshell to crack open. I talked to him many times about the Lord about salvation through Jesus Christ through God's grace and his mercy and his love that he has upon us. But I need to remember I will not force God's word on a family member stranger or friend.

I struggle to share. I have the knowledge and insight, faith, even the willingness, and often share in vague or indirect ways. But I want to do it more, boldly, as a natural part of my life style. I say when you meet someone new or even come across any opportunity to share it (like the comment section to videos or anything), make it a habit of the gospel being the first thing you say! Like that you don’t feel guilty for not sharing it and pushing it off for the “right time”. I get that it can be scary to be different but we aren’t even called to be of this world. You can do this. I’m literally 15 years old. Sure I lost a lot of friends and I still struggle with doing everything I know I’m supposed to, but God is our Lord. We shouldn’t be afraid of anyone or anything! I pray for the persecuted! We are not alone in our time of struggle. Praise God Amen!!!!

I'm so happy you mentioned Young life!! I'm a high school student at Younglife and my family members and their friends have been leaders and extremely involved in the ministry. Definitely something a high school student can do- invite friends to young life so they can get a taste of Jesus :)

Thanks for the advice alot of my friends know I'm Christian, but their's been times where I had many opportunities to minister to my friends and I didn't then I feel guilty I want to bring many people at my school to christ because the bible says he who saves souls is wise so this advise is helpful and I pray God shapes me to be more bold.

I have been told to stop talking about Jesus to my family....but my nephew is getting married next month and they have a Metis indigenous background. I did a little research to find that last fall there was an First Nations version Bible published. I looked it up and it looks absolutely beautiful a translation that was overseen by countless different tribes in North America. I bought a copy to give to them as a wedding gift do you think I am overstepping my boundaries because I've been told to keep Jesus out of our relationships? I feel very strong with the Lord has guided me to discover this book and pressed upon me to give it to them.

Hello Joe, I am using my family's RUclips and i ran across this video.. I've been playing a video game and gained some friends that seem to like me, none of them are spiritual, or religious. I am a Christian and i find it hard to be true sometimes.. they cuss they ignore the pain and chaos going around. I find myself praying for them on a daily basis, for an opportunity to share Gods love, word! Ive having a heavy heart for them cause i see the good in some of them most of them.. My name is Tressa! Please pray for me, and for them.. I feel in my soul that Abba wants them to know him and the good news! Im struggling to find words and confidence to stand up, Plus its a little tricky when its online also. Thankyou for your videos, YHWH used you to speak to me and my family in many ways! May He bless you, your family & ministry!!!I struggle with all of my family members. My kids are early 20's, my siblings & my parents all believe are once saved always saved, but make no time or effort to live for Jesus. One of my siblings & her significant other (they now have a 3 year old) & his family claim to be Atheists or Agnostics. None of them want to hear anything. My Agnostic sister believes something created everything & it was a higher being, but not God. She likes to argue about anything & everything. I get she wants to be acknowledged & heard, but it's hard to have a real conversation with her. And my in-laws all came from a Catholic upbringing, but I don't know how to know they're saved?
I believe a lot of my avoidance is my own fear of rejection. I can get past that, but I really feel like I've already lost so many of my family because I'm I'm following what God wants me to. Please pray for me to have Jesus' boldness & for opportunities to present themselves as well as un-hardening of hearts. There is so much hurt & unforgiveness in our family, it's hard to get on a "real" level past the masks with anyone.
