    Quite impressive! Is multi time frame display possible? I.E. for example 3 charts of the same security displayed on screen, with different time frame in each graph, and the security can be changed all at once in the graphs by selecting another security from the watchlist.

    Any way to get different Y axis labels for left Y-axis vs right Y-axis? i.e. if I was comparing 10-year Treasury yield vs S&P 500, I'd want to show the yield on one axis and the index level on the other.

    • @Koyfin

      Hey Mike,
      While that's not possible right now, it is a great suggestion, and we'll create a ticket to explore having that customisability within Charting.

    Great Video! Is there a way to simply save a macro chart or set of charts without saving a chart template? For example, I want to see the DXY dollar index and Brent crude price on a single chart. I don't want to save the chart template so that every time I open it, it shows me some ticker from a watchlist compared to Brent. I just want to modify a chart and save it, so I can open it at a later date exactly as is, with updated data for the chosen series. Thanks.

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  10 месяцев назад

      Yes you can do this. Assuming you talking about a chart inside of a dashboard, you can set up a chart, and then in the bottom left corner, can change the settings to single security, and type in the security without relying on a watchlist.

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  10 месяцев назад

      Cont… i would recommend setting up a custom dashboard, and then adding these charts to the dashboard, so you can open the dashboard and see them update whenever you want!

      @@Koyfin Thanks! Is it possible to have all the charts be different macro series? I would love to open it up, and see one chart for unemployment, one for CPI, one for job openings, one for unemployment etc, but when I change the security in the bottom left like you mention, all the charts change to the same series. Thanks for your help!

    does koyfin have data for de-listed companies in its database? If im trying to (as an amateur) check a buy/sell strategy by looking at the past, then i need to know if my strategy tends to select for companies that are no longer listed (and what return i would have had if i had bought them before they were de-listed, merged, or what have you)

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  Год назад

      We have historic fundamental, performance, and price data for listed stocks. We don’t have delisted stocks.
      Could you not perform this analysis with listed stocks?

    • @singranasbonfireofdreams8161
      @singranasbonfireofdreams8161 Год назад +1

      @@Koyfin the problem with only using listed stocks, is that it then selects for companies that existed at the start and end of the sample.
      suppose my strategy tells me to buy some companies that do well like facebook, that`s great, but if it also tells me to buy we-work that`s bad, now if i was to test a strategy today by looking back, facebook is there now so we can look how we would have done by investing at some point in the past, but we do not find we-work in this example as they are now gone, so we are lead to believe we have found a good strategy with no catastrophic outcomes, when in actuality that is what we would have ran into. essentially by guaranteeing that we only test on alive companies we introduce a bias in the test of the strategy
      i understand that this is not the main use-case for your frankly great chart website however

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  Год назад

      No that makes perfect sense, thanks for explaining. We unfortunately don’t cater to that use case right now, but we may someday!
      Thank you for the kind words about our charts. We also provide a wealth of fundamental data, transcripts, screeners, watchlists, and such too :)

    Is it possible to download the "show table" data as CSV?
    P.S. Platform is awesome

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  21 день назад

      Hey Rich, it's not currently available as this was restricted from our data vendor. Thank you!

    • @RichFlair310
      @RichFlair310 21 день назад

      @@Koyfin is all data restricted, including share price and rev/ebit/ebitda? Or is there some data that’s not restricted and could be available for download in the near future?
      reason I ask is I’d like to create graphs with y-axes on the left and right. I’ve only been able to create graphs with y-axes stacked on the right. Is this possible on the platform?

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  20 дней назад

      The "Show Table" is not available for any user. We don't expect this to change in the future.
      In other areas of the platform, some data is not restricted, but valuations, estimates, and financials, are because they are restricted by the vendor.

      Hey, to create relative charts you can enter tickers into the search bar or chart tool like this "SPY:NDX". You can plot any two securities on a relative basis this way.
