- Although there's a lot of different options for stages in Smash Ultimate, the vast majority are not tournament legal and therefore never really used by competitive Smash players. Despite this, can our PROS identify the Smash stage based on a super zoomed in shot?

How about some weird interactions,, you could get some footage of games or some specific scenarios.
for the former, you could show a few seconds of gameplay, pause it and ask "Who'll win this interaction, do they trade or do they clang" or whatever, and then show the result
for the latter, you could go to practice mode and go for a specific scenario, like hero's kaclang landing into banjo's sideB etcc, let them answer what happens
Could be cool, and might even be informative :]
What if you do a quiz where there's like 3 characters to choose from and you name a move and the contestants have to guess who the move belongs to. Also what's the name of the music used in 4:36?
Remove the names from the character tip info and see if they can assign it to a character.

i like wadi's approach. marss and esam are trying to think of the names, while wadi is doing the big brain describe the stage as much as possible and hope he gets the points
I can relate to WaDi, as someone who thinks visually, it’s hard for me to remember names I don’t use regularly.
That's why he's my favorite out of the bunch. I know he'll get the answers wrong but he tries XD

The only one I got name and all was 6:30 wuhu island only because I used to spend HOURS playing flyover on Wii sports resort, so the looks of those hotels are engrained in my head

That Venom one got me. I said Halberd, because of the red sky, but when Marss said it could be Venom, I was like "Damn it, he could be right! I was thinking that sky looked a little too bland to be Halberd!" I got 7 btw

I heard that the Olympics would be better if there was one "average" person competing in each event to really demonstrate how incredible each athlete is. That's how I see Wadi in these videos. I love Smash but I don't know names of stages so when I watch Panda videos sometimes I'm like "should I know these things?" And Wadi helps me realize, no, I don't need to know these things. Thanks for helping me feel normal.

I'm not trying to complain here, but can we see some of the other Pandas? Much as I do enjoy Marss's arrogant confidence and WaDi's good-humored spirit, I don't think I've seen a non-Smash Panda since either the dodgeball video, or MAYBE Anna sometime a while ago.
Edit: I would have laughed so hard if PokeFloats made an appearance.
I mean panda has their fighting game channel where their other players are obviously more prominent. They also don't have wolfey or cybertron anymore so they don't do pokemon content. Seems like they've focused their attention on smash like 95% of the time. But yeah I wish we saw people like j wong and punk more often, they're hilarious. Even plup. Hes a smash player but hes not that prominent on this channel
Smash brings more views and grows the channel. Which means more profit

I'm so glad I got the Venom one right! My first thought was Venom, but then I started second guessing myself when they said "Halberd." After a few seconds of debate, I stuck with my gut. And I was right in the end!

I thought the Mario Circuit one was Wuhu island where the fighting is
I'm gonna play along, but I don't think I'm going to do well because I don't remember a lot of stage names, despite always keeping all of them available.
Correct: Suzaku Castle (I said fortress, close enough), Great Bay Temple, Rainbow Cruise, Venom (when they all said Halberd I thought I was suuuunk), Dream Land GB (I even somehow remembered the actual name?!)
Incorrect: Brinstar (I said Venom, the zoom-in fooled me), Mario Circuit (I at least thought it was Mario), Peach's Castle (I did not even guess, come on), Palutena's Temple (I was close, I thought Skyworld like ESAM), Big Blue (It's zoomed in to a resolution no one looks at! This one is patently unfair), Wuhu Island (My guess was also Delfino), Pokemon Stadium 2 (I didn't even THINK of that, damn!), Bridge of Eldin (The moment Marss said it I knew that was right), Kongo Falls (Not even a guess), Fountain of Dreams (Too many stages with possibilities, I figured my odds were low)
Score: 5/15
Okay, it wasn't stage names that got me, but I do not focus much on the 'elements' of the stages so much as the gestalt, so this one played to one of my weaknesses. I mean, I beat WaDi, but is clearing a low bar really worth celebrating?

For once I was on the same wavelength as WaDi instead of Marss... sadness
I got wuhu island wrong (thought it was Delfino plaza), bridge of eldin wrong (thought it was the part of the paper Mario stage on the boat), fountain on dreams wrong (thought it was balloon fight), and peach’s castle (64) wrong (thought it was super happy tree). All the others I got right ^^
