This channel should become the first choice of designers to learn graphics in a few minutes. His each and every video I add to my video playlist and do a warm up every time before start working. Your channel is a gem in the crowd and I personally refer to my people. I follow you everywhere and learn things from you, and I believe one day I'll achieve my goal of becoming a minimalistic graphic designer! I love minimalism. Thank you very much Tom for making me best every day.
Yes, most popular brands are not trendy. Trend is just an assumption which keeps changing constantly. As you said at the end of the day the basics of art and design and how we present matters.
Trends of 2021 would be unpredictable. Because of this pandemic time of 2020, many designers would burst open their new styles in 2021. But for now I could feel typography played a major role in 2020. Same as your point retro theme would take up in 2021. Cheers and Kudos to you Satori -- From KR Designs
The answer is yes a little bit I follow those trends but I should protect my style too. It needs balance. If everyone follows the trends who'll be the next to create a new trend? I suppose every designer can find something in those trends to assemble some of them to their own style.
So excited! if any of you have the time please check this video out, made it over an year back, inspired by retrowave and old nes style games ruclips.net/video/4iZf3wLcz64/видео.html
The question regarding following trends is almost the wrong question... Still a valid one. However, a more pertinent question should be should you aim to SET trends... For me, the future retro is (ironically) not a new thing, both in chosen timescale and general look... You had things in the 90s be "inspired" by those of the 60s and 70s... Tie dye T shirts, bright patterns on specific clothing items (ties and such)... People always seem to harken back to an earlier time, obtaining a nostalgia for a time they never lived in.... This century isn't going to be any different in that regard. To me, I'd be more excited to see hybrids of ideas... For example, merging the cyber punk asthetic with the atmosphere of film noir, or expressionist cinema. ... That excites me. Much more that doing old betamax sci fi film covers with Photoshop...
The point about logo's is crucial if you want to be taken seriously in that line of work. Logos never follow a trend, they set a stamp on the identity of the owner and reflect their credibility.
Very good video. As a college student from China who is studying design, this kind of open thinking is very worth learning. I like the design of Western countries very much, the kind of visual and interactive innovation and beauty. I hope that some designers or design students can communicate with me. I will provide the information you want to know. Thanks to every designer for his contribution to the world, which makes our world a better place.
Thank you for this conent, very inspiring. I think that the trends will definitely be visible on posters, catalogues and some SM graphics, at some level at least. I know I will use some of those trends - like the man-made products with nature ambience - it's a very nice trend actually!
I think trends are like come and go , we should make our design simple , good looking and classic which never goes out of date . Correct me If I am wrong. Thank you
I have a bunch of glossy magazines from 2005-2010. Most car adverts feature cars in hills/swamps/mountains/some other wilderness. I can prove that with pictures :D So I don't think it has anything to do with a lockdown really.
Hey Tom sup Design is by default a vast concept, any piece of input regarding it’ is but a grain of sand in an hourglass? Which in any case’ is any one grain worth the time of our life’s... I liked learning the industry standard tool here, didn’t really have capacity for anything else.. ☮️
Learn and master the graphic design principles (check Google) and then get to know your software such as Adobe. Read graphic design blogs, get some books and absorb everything
the way I see trends is like a train ride, you should NEVER buy an expres ticket, get on and don't get off untill the last station, ut you should get up ride one or two stations get off go back a station walk for a while mabe grab a cab
Cyberpunk style, Watch Akudama Drive anime. Personally I thought graphic design trends are set by Apple, Microsoft and Google based on their OS and UX. Flat design was somehow made popular by Google Android. Apple had a 3D icons before they shift to gradient flat. Microsoft's fluent design looks very delicious but have yet to see its popularity...
I have recently developed an interest in Graphic Designing and I want a mentor in the process. I want to know will it be too late for me to start experiencing this new genre because when I look around I see many well-established designers in the field who create a sense of insecurity in me. This market of Design has seen massive growth in recent years and thus resulting in increased competition as well. Can you help me out with this? Will opting for a course in Graphic Designing be good? or Should I start by practicing it myself?
First and foremost you need to execute the story/experience your campaign, packaging etc is trying to say. I guess youre trying to communicate relevance it would help but don’t let it hinder authenticity.
Hello sir, Can you share some web links or guide me any channel or blogs to stay update as Graphics designer...I would like to know what you do to stay updated and crative.
Nothing is ever black and white in reality. Trends can be helpful to designers and businesses, and it is sometimes a great idea to utilise a trend. Marketing giants use trends to increase sales of products, and what does advertising utilize? Graphic design. It's all business
More design principles and before/after type videos coming in the next days and weeks ✌
Nice!!
Yayyyyyyy!
Nice ❤️

Finally, a real top design trends video! Thank you for collecting information for this!
Glad you liked it Rita, and have a great day.
Awesome work. I'm not too jazzed about the upcoming juxtaposed typography, but I'm feeling the retro futurism.
Thanks for your insight, and don't read too much into it. These things will not dominate the design world 👍
great insight, I can really see those things you pointed out!
Awesome channel by the way
cheers Derp Derp lol

In some situations yeah it will be fine, in others it probably shouldn't be 👍
Awesome video,very insightful!
Glad you enjoyed it Flo
This is informatively good. Thanks for this.

Funny how old trends can resurface. I might consider using ‘colour blur’ looks really neat.
totally love your work🔥🖤

Great video. Please do a tutorial on adding the grain effect to your gradients
I'll surely look into that thanks

That might be a future video..
Thanks dude 😘❤️❤️❤️
No problemo 👍
Many THANKS 🙏🏽
Happy to help :)
Thank you!
No problem:)
Good to see the upcoming trends of 2021😍. I think trends are temporary.
All trends are temporary.. actually everything in life is temporary lol
Great on - thanks again.
No problem 👍
Your philosophy aligns with mine. Good distinctions between clients needs, approach, and when to go for it. Thank you.
Thank you for this work !
Wooow very informative video thanks for share with us
This years gonna be my year :D
Let's hope so! 💪
Thanks for the info, Satori. Interesting stuff! Btw, where can I find the outro song? Banger imo.
That retro Cyberpunk-Ish style is a dystopia.
Thanks a lot bro 😛
I wouldn't mind trying Surrealism, that's really cool seeing a design have both realistic & unrealistic in one
Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking
Hi....animations and design of your videos is very attractive. Could you tell me what software do you use to make videos as such ?
And you already use trended color-pastel yellow👏👏
I think trends are like come and go , we should make our design simple , good looking and classic which never goes out of date .

What about glass effect?

Thanks informative

one request, please make a video about how to find pairing font for hand-made font or custom lettering.

Thanks for the great vid! Where can I view that website by Obys Agency?
what typeface is the "2021." in your thumbnail image?
Redwing
@@SatoriGraphics thanks
Oh yes. Retrofuturism, the bright future taken from utopistic movies such as Bladerunner and Tron. Maybe that's what people want?
I would love to see the site or animation shown at 3:15 by obys. I could not find it via Google. Does anyone have a link?
i am totally new .where should i start from? please help

sir can you explain me the pen tool using ?
what's the name of the song ?
I only see how blender is being used little by little in Sir's video!
Blender is useful without a doubt, yet the Blender videos I made were not received so well

Which app do you use to present these?
One upon a time I used a lot of flat drop (gradient) shadow like shooting star :p
I wish you had expounded on what “honest” means in graphic design... perhaps you have before... I hope to learn more what this means.
Depends on whether they pay you to follow a trend or not
Where is the best place to fine trends for graphic design.
I suggest that Google has anything you ever need, apart from emotional things such as love and happiness lol
