11-10-2023, my buddy and I walk into the showroom at HSP and Danny was there to greet us. Very impressive and interactive setup. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Phoenix area! Thanks again for cracking jokes with us and the hospitality.
I'm in Tucson and recently got a Flatpack. Didn't know the store was in Scottsdale! I also stumbled upon Last Shot on youtube. Going to have to plan a day trip down to see what's what!
Glad to see this. It is way long overdue. I got a FlatPack about 6 years ago that I stopped using almost immediately because as a standalone pack, it was relatively uncomfortable in humid weather. Eventually I got the Qore Performance pads, which turned it into my favorite minimalist pack. I will look to get a few of these to retrofit other similarly sized packs.
I remember several months ago seeing a prototype of this that used mesh, like your side saddles and chest rig backers. Not knocking the final version here, but why'd you switch to the Thorax foam instead of that?
A flat pack with nalagene side pockets and a beaver tail attachment is what I am looking for. Running it like the back panel on a battle jacket paired with chest rig
When can I get this in fifty shades of FDE, or Ranger green? Anything but black. I absolutely HATE black accessories when paired with camouflage options, it's got a lazy feel!
Any plans to bring back accessories like the laptop insert? I'd like to see a good solution for carrying PDWs like a TP9 or MP5k in the flatpack so that they are not exposed when opening the main compartment.
@@HaleyStrategicPartners 👍 I'd also love for it to be lined with loop so I could add retention straps in to secure my TP9 and its suppressor/spare mag.
can you PLEASE make a line of backpacks for EDC. Almost EVERY tactical clothing or bag or softgoods brand that makes an "EDC" backpack NEVER has a nice padded compartment for laptops. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is 5.11. And even theirs, the laptop strap is held down with hook and loop. The only backpack i've ever seen with a decent plastic buckle to hold the strap down is Wenger. But that backpack is 20 years old and is falling apart and they're not a tactical brand so they aren't made of the types of materials that i want nor have the "look" that i like. They still make that backpack but i think the newer ones are made with much lower standards and aren't nearly as durable as the same model from decades past and even they changed the strap retention to hook and loop from the plastic buckle. I just want a 500d or 1000d, whatever the flatpak is made out of with well thought out pockets and compartments for EDC use with a nice padded area for a high end laptop that has a strap with a plastic buckle or even a cobra buckle just for the LULZ of it. And when i say well thought out pockets and compartments, i mean pockets and/or compartments. Not one large opening that you have to throw everything in. There should be at least 2 models. One that can hold up to a 15.6" laptop and one that can hold up to an 18" laptop. Maybe even a 3rd model that's in between where it can hold a 15.6" laptop AND a full size iPad tablet. (If that one exist then the 18" should also by default come with the ability to hold a full size iPad.) Haley Strategic makes some of the best softgoods and even hard goods for the tactical warfighter but that's just one tiny portion of a huge market. (The Tactical or....Tacticool market) I think if you expanded to have an EDC line, they'd sell like mad. Even if the bag was $250 - $280. If the bag screams quality, then the $$$ will come. If you need "ideas", take a look at the First Tactical Tactix backpacks. They're my all time favorite backpacks aside from the fact that they don't come with a padded laptop compartment, which makes me want to put a hole through drywall with my fucking face. Drives me fucking insane when so much thought is put into a backpack and they just leave out that one major feature.
I’m confused about hairstyling with a hat comb. Super weird looking hair flared out like styled n manipulated to appear styled by hair n makeup. Bahahhahhahahah
its not $200, Feel free to design your own Berry Compliant soft goods and let us know how cheap you can make it. Most quality made bags that arent made offshore in the defense space cost a lot more.
ok so $160 or $180 depending on size and then you charge $30 for the extra padding. Did I miss something? I mean having all those ocular scientists are really what’s not cheap. But keep up the bs lies.
So $160 or $180 depending on size. Then $30 for the padding. Did I miss something? It’s really the ocular scientists that you guys have to pay that makes your products expensive. Quit the bs. And keep taking this comment down cowards
1) if youre military LEO or EMS you can get a discount 2) Ive been EDC'ing a flatpack+ for two years. First for offroad work in the desert, then as a lunch/gym bag when I was in construction, now as an active shooter/BLS bag. And it still pulls double-duty as a mini assault pack or back panel/hydration carrier when I train. It's not for everyone but it's a quality product that takes whatever I can throw at it, can be set up any way you like, and it's been worth every penny for me. Holds whatever I need it to and nothing I dont.

Great idea! I'm going to have to run this by one of my Ocular Scientists before I'm fully onboard.
Rofl
Is this biomechanically ergonomic padding going to help when going kinesthetic?
Really innovative stuff guys.
How to did HSP become such a meme?
I integrated my FlatPak onto my Thorax plate carrier. Works like a charm and SUPER comfortable.
Danny, thanks for the piggyback inspiration. I used it for hunting two weeks ago and was amazed how easy it was to set up.

Love all the videos. Can we get one on how to "properly" put on the FlatPack shoulder pads? Thanks for everything!
Nice! I took mine for a hike and thought something like this would have been nice
Indeed
0:34 that’s a crazy flow he got ooh 🔥
Some of the best solutions are the simple solutions.

Great! I've been wanting to run my flatpack as a backpack more lately, not feeling the contents is gonna be a huge improvement.
Its a noticeable difference

Great backpack 🎒😀
Thank you 🤗

Possibly!

What If the flatpack plus I bought doesn't have molly?
Sweet now I can have a functional backpack for like $800
Thanks for the review of the new product
Dammit, my grey flatpack+ does not have the molle to put that upgrade on.
Install guide on the shoulder pads?
Holly shit, mogley! Is that you?
👍🏻
Dammit bobby.... Tactical John Redcorn gone cost me more money
You need to offer shoulder pads. Seriously
They do!
👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍!!
What ⌚️ is that?

My flatpack plus has zero MOLLE to attach this to. Just a mesh material.

$200 backpack……. Amazing what marketing can do for a backpack and fanboys

Keep deleting my post. Everyone reading this the “men” at Hailey Strategic can’t handle criticism.
