so for you candles, there is a thing called mr. coffee and its meant for mugs but you can use it for candles as well and it melts your candle instead of burning it so you can literally keep your candle forever and it will never shrink. you get the same smell as you would from a flame, the only downside is that the wick goes to the bottom so you cant burn it again you would have to keep using the little mr. coffee thing!! i use it and its amazing because you dont have to spend money on candles ever again haha

U can take the wax and put it over to a new candle that's the same scent and when u burn the new candle.. It'll just melt together

Just buy a wick and pore the wax in to a smaller container and put the wick in the middle set it aside wait for it to get hard again and then u can just burn them now

and another tip, for a better burn and the candle to last a little more before you start to burn them put them overnight in the freezer, it does sound weird but it does work! I always do it with all my candles!

Nooo Don't buy anything to melt the candle. Just heat to warm- slightly hot water in a pot or bowl and sit the candle in an inch of water. Once the candle melts just pour the unused wax in the newer candle. Then take a papertowel and wipe the candle holder clean. Us may need to reheat to remove all wax. Xoxo

There's an actual thing thats a candle holder which renews your wax. So when your wax melts downwards it collects at the bottom and solidifies again so you can reuse it. I saw it somewhere but can't remember the name. Apologies.

Get a wax warmer! From Wal-Mart or Target. They usually come with a dish that you put the little wax cubes in, but you could just use the leftover wax from your candle. :)

Hi Kathleen! Tips for your candles. First, you can buy a candle burner (they have them at WalMart) that is a flat plate that burns the candle from the bottom. This will allow you to finish burning your candles without a wick! I believe these burners are less than $10. You'll be very surprised at how much burning time you have left on your candles by using your burning plate!
Secondly, you can take the wax out of your candle and chop it up into medium to small sized pieces to burn them in a tart burner you may have in your house. Just place the pieces in your burner, turn it on (or light a tea light candle, however yours works) and sit back to enjoy the smell! I burn my extra candle pieces in my Scentsy burners and they work GREAT!!
I hope one of these two suggestions help you! Much love!!!

Kathleen!!! all you need to do is get a candle warmer. they sell them everywhere like Target, Walmart, Kmart, many places. they are usually around $10. mine came with a little dish that I can put those little wax cubes in or take the dish off and set a candle on it and it melts them down the rest of the way. Then I reuse the candle jar to hold things like Q-tips, cotton balls, round pads for you face ect. I love mine ive had it for a long time and it works very well.

With face washes- lush has a bar soap called coalface which works amazing on my oily/sensitive/blemish prone skin. It leaves your skin feeling clean but not super dry like others. It's also slightly exfoliating & really softens your skin. Using that with my cosmetic warrior fresh face mask (also from lush) I haven't had a breakout in months! The price of coalface depends on how big of a chunk you purchase but it's inexpensive. A container of cosmetic warrior fresh face mask is $6-7 I believe. I highly highly recommend both! Great video as always, Kathleen! Love the lip color on you!

Hi Kathleen!!! The candles get black and sooty like that if you don't trim the wicks every few uses. They say you should keep the wick under 1/2 an inch at all times! I just thought I'd let you know! :)

To burn the rest of the candle buy a cheap coffee warmer.. I got mine from k-mart for like 5$ or you can sometimes find them at the thrift store for like 1$.. but basically you turn it on and put the candle on it.. ( its pretty much a candle warmer ) it melts the wax.. I use it all the time when my candles get down to the very bottom like that one.. its safe also.. but anyways you melt it til it runs out or melt it down and poor it out in to a class container ( like an old candle without any wax in it, or I even use a smaller old coffee cup ) and just use that on the coffee warmer and the bigger container is empty ! Hope all is well. I LOVE your videos ! Thank you so much! hope this works for you ! KathleenLights

Kathleen I recommend an electric wax warmer. They usually have a heating element in the base and then a dish that sits on top to hold wax cubes or tartlettes. You can either chip the wax out of the jar and put it in the dish OR if you get one designed without a lip around the heating element you can just set the jar on top of it. I like the electric ones rather than the ones that use a tealight because why use one candle to melt another candle??? Plus you can use the wax melter to de-pot cosmetics instead of using a lighter to melt the plastic to loosen the glue. Much easier IMO. Great for lip products. I use a spatula or toothpick to get all of the lipstick bits out of the bottom of the tube, melt the lipstick in an empty tealight tin, pinch the tin to make a spout, and pour it into a smaller pan or pot. The warmer is just warm enough to make it liquid, but not so warm it alters the consistency of the lipstick.I've made some cool "leftover swirl" pans - waste not, want not :)

    Kathleen, you are great!
With the healthy sexy hair, it's worth keeping in mind that if you buy it from TJ Max, or a similar store, they are not licensed to sell them and more often than not the products are tampered with. I actually don't prefer the shampoo either, but as far as smell, mine is on point with all the other soy argon products that healthy sexy hair makes.

    CANDLE SOLUTION!!!!!!
I have the same problem with my BBW candles too. If you go to WalMart, in the candle section, they have flat, electric candle burners that will melt the wax of your candle without you having to light your wicks. It really does work! I wouldn't do a full candle on the thing because the wax will burn up too soon but it's perfect to finish off a BBW candle who's wicks peter out too soon. You'll be surprised at how long the candle will continue to burn.
Also, do you have a Scentsy burner or any other type of tart burner? If so, you can freeze your jars, pop the wax out, put it in a gallon sized ziplock bag, and break it up into pieces that you can then burn in your tart/Scentsy burner. The scent will be the same and you can continue to enjoy your favorite scent for that much longer! I hope one of these two options help you! Much love!!!!

A year late, but worth it.
    Easy, clean wax transfer.
    1. two inches of water in a pot, place glass container on medium heat.
    2. melt, remove wick bases
    3. pour melted wax to the top your next candle.

what i always do is after the candle doesnt burn anymore i put it inside the freezer for about 20mins, that way i can get whats left of the wax with a knife... (really, putting the candle in the freezer makes it a looot easier)
i try to accumulate as much wax i can from different candles.. and once i have enough (like a full quarter ziploc bag) i put that wax on another burn out candle jar and melt that wax in what is called a ''double boil'' or ''bain marie''.. i add some new wicks that i bought on amazon and TADAAAA, u have a new candle!!!
I always do that because there is a lot of wax waste on those bath and body works candles!
hope it helps! its a fun DIY project!

Hey girl! I know this sounds a bit odd, BUT take your candle and put it in a pot on the stove. Fill the pot with water so the candle kind of bobbs around in it and turn the burner on low. This will melt the candle and smell SO GOOD!!! If you want, go to the craft store, buy some candle wicks and a glass container, place your wick in the new glass, and put the melted wax in it and voila! You can also make your own scents with your other old candles and layer them once it solidifies! Hope this helps ♥

re-purposing candles is SO easy once you know how. I love it. All's I do is cut out the wicks (so the wax will still look pretty instead of charcoal-y) and melt the wax in a double boiler. You'll need to buy a new wick, but they are pretty cheap and you can find them at any craft store. Place the wick in the middle of whatever container you are using between two sticks (skewers, Popsicle sticks, ect.) so it stays up right. Poor the wax into your container and let it cool. Boddabang Boddaboom you have a minny bliss burner.

When you burn the 3 wick candles, burn for no more than about 4 hours at a time, and keep the wicks trimmed to about 1/4 of an inch. They'll suit (soot?) less and the glass won't get all black. You can buy a candle warmer for your BBW candles. They sell them at Michaels for like $5. It's basically a warming surface you can put candles on that melt the wax and diffuse the scent. It can make candles last longer too. Then when it's melted you can pour out the wax easily and use it for your brushes!

YES! Buy a wax warmer and put it in there, it fills up your home with awesomeness. I think it disperses the scent more than a lit candle does. And I don't know the point of spending more money and extra effort on getting the scentsy brand, but I buy mine at Walmart, target, and even michaels and they work great!

Hi Kathleen!! I have just the thing for burning the last bit of candle wax. I bought an electric tart warmer and started putting the last bit of wax from the candles in it. It works awesome and I don't have to feel like I'm wasting anymore.

I don't know if you'll see this or even if care to read it but when the candle jars get so low they won't burn anymore, I like to put them on my stovetop (not a burner) after I have cooked so while it's still hot it'll release the fragrance, sort of like a cover up

Hey Kathleen! About the candles and your question; I have seen other youtubers set up a double boiler (fill one pot with some water and then they place their almost used up candle in it to melt the wax inside) once the wax has been completely melted they then take a silicone ice cube tray and pour the left overs in it and let it cool. Because the silicone is so soft it will allow you to get the newly formed wax cubes out easily :) from there you just pop the cubes into those wax heater things lol Hope this helps & PS thank you for all the great videos

Kathleen! I used to hate Essie nail polishes aswell, but then I got the Orly Bonder rubberized basecoat, and they literally last a week on me now! I have bought so many Essie polishes since discovering that basecoat. Try it out if you can get Orly where you are xx

Use a candle warmer (I use a beverage warmer cuz it's the same thing and cheaper) when candles get low. They still give off scent, since they are melted (no fire) you can remove the wicks, when it gets real low they are easy to wipe out and reuse for brushes or whatever you want!

  • @ArianaHall

You can also boil some water, pour it in the jar half way and let it sit! its amazing! I also use them for my makeup brushes! KathleenLights
