  • Here are 5 easy ways to find work in New Zealand. As a casual backpacker there are 5 different jobs you can do in New Zealand.
    Hey guys! My name is Marie and for the past three years I have been wondering around the globe. Often getting lost, often screwing up, but most importantly seeing incredible places, meeting beautiful souls and living life to the fullest.
    I am 26 and I am a digital nomad. Working online to fund my travels is one way I have supported myself over the past three years.
    But I have also experienced working in New Zealand and Australia on Working Holidays, House Sitting, Work exchange volunteering and so much more.
    On my channel I share my journey (every bit of it, even the bad parts) and I share with you how I make it all happen, each and every step of the way.
    Thank you SO much for checking out my channel. I always appreciate it when others LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to see more of my content and to follow my incredible journey along the way.

      I have lots of backpacker friends who came from South America. There were not native english speakers. But some did need to do a english test before coming. They were on a working holiday visa. See if Peru has a WHV option.

    • @marieaustin10
      @marieaustin10  5 лет назад +2

      Its illlegal to work here without a valid work visa. :/ So unless you have a visa that allows work, you would be breaking the law and could be fined and deported.

    Do you think it's possible to save money on a working visa in New Zealand? :) I know Australia's great for that but New Zealand temps me more. However I don;t want to be scraping and just spending what I earn. I'd love the ability to save up during the months.

    • @marieaustin10
      @marieaustin10  6 лет назад +1

      Hey! Yes absolutely. In fact I am saving money now, and I am filming a video explaining how this week!
      I am travelling with friends who have saved almost $20,000 each in just a few months here on a WHV. I am able to save $800 per week right now with my job here. I will make a video about it all soon :D

    • @sorchx
      @sorchx 6 лет назад +1

      Yes please do. This is really making me contemplate going there or not. That's a huge amount to save though and I would love to hear how they managed that. Thank you :)

    Im really confused . I am from the UK. i looked on the new Zealand immigration website and it says in order to get a seasonal work permit/visa that you need a job offer . But then every seasonal job i see says you need a visa to apply... But you cant get visa if you dont have a job?? WHAT ITS A LOOP ?? WTF

    • @marieaustin10
      @marieaustin10  4 месяца назад

      If you're from the UK, then you should apply for a Working Holiday Visa. That is the visa that the majority of young people are doing.

    • @cheeseoreos493
      @cheeseoreos493 4 месяца назад

      @@marieaustin10 AHH ok it was a bit confusing, because the visa looked pretty expensive. And if you apply for the visa with out a job ( most of the farm jobs I saw said you had to already have the visa)
      You run the risk of taking too long to secure a job / running out of in new Zealand doing it that way etc ?
