+Russell Chee maybe it could be classified as nu metal not rock because thats what they classified qwerty as and it sounds similar but I dont know it also kinda sounds like place for my head abit which was classified as rock its probably hard rock but im just wondering

I don't get why people get so mad about negative comments saying they don't like this song or this album or whatever. I love this song and I don't mind people dissing it, it's their opinion and right to criticise it. The whole "Don't like don't comment" argument is stupid because if you don't know what people actually think of your work and only get positive comments, how do you grow as an artist? You need those people who tell you when part of a song isn't up to par or you make a mistake somewhere or your sound gets repetitive so you can improve and make even better music. If you like a song or band, you should welcome criticism and opinions of all types, so there's an accurate representation of what the general listener thinks of the music. As long as they're not threatening people or posting viruses or some shit, I say bring on whatever your opinion is, it just helps paint a picture for the artists to understand what they're making.
Simply saying "This sucks", "I hate it", or "God why don't they stop making music" helps no one. As for me, I think this album is alright. It's certainly a step in a direction I like, but it's not my favorite album from LP. Hunting Party looks very promising though.
Mx41204"Simply saying "This sucks", "I hate it", or "God why don't they stop making music" helps no one." - Nor do comments such as "I love this!", and "this is great". Who are these comments supposed to "help" anyway? They're just people's honest opinions on the music. Stop acting like a person whose opinion is different to yours is in the wrong due to their comment not solving world hunger.
tsukuruuu "if it isnt constructive criticism it doesen't help anyone really" - Ok can we stop with this nonsense? Why does a RUclips comment of someone's opinion on a song need to be "constructive"? Are people supposed to say "I dislike this because...", just in case Linkin Park reads the comment and needs help in knowing why people dislike it? Don't be so fucking ridiculous. Grow up. Comments such as "I love this!" are not helpful because they don't tell LP why they like it, but I don't see people like you saying "that's not constructive". What this demonstrates is a clear bias towards disliking comments whose opinons happen to be different to yours.
Wheeler67 That's because it IS the beginning for Roads Untraveled. This is also the reason why, in LP's official RUclips channel, they omitted the ending of this song and instead puts it Roads Untraveled, but if you bought the CD or the vinyl it's the opposite.
Th3 Zm0nst3r what do you mean by "modern Linkin park" ? Linkin park was great, Linkin park is great and Linkin park will always remain great. If you hate "modern Linkin park" then you were never a fan of linkinpark
Yes he does. Look man we could go back and forth about this all damn day but just.. go listen to every single Linkin Park song since Meteora and Hybrid Theory.
Linkin park is not screamo, but this is amazing, not even just the screaming, but the part after screaming is just amazing, that's what Linkin park should continue doing (:
if only for a few short seconds off two minutes... I heard the old.linkin park. Also. Chester's screaming. Good to hear it again. C: welcome back, LP. We've followed you through and through and I think this album will be a hit
Excuse me but their newest album is in fact my favourite of all the others they've released so I am hardly in a position to 'gtfo' thank you very much.
It's incredible how they're able to blend electronic, rap, punk rock and folk into a track all under 2minutes.
Russell Chee There is no folk in this song though
+Russell Chee maybe it could be classified as nu metal not rock because thats what they classified qwerty as and it sounds similar but I dont know it also kinda sounds like place for my head abit which was classified as rock its probably hard rock but im just wondering

Yup, that's Linkin park :D
where the fuck is folk
Chester was sick when they recorded this, and it still sounds great.
In both meanings of "sick"
Hez been sick all his life. Depression is a fucker.
@@chhayadivyam Yeah, that’s not true.
Chester has a fever while recording. But still manage to scream! Watch how they made their Living Things album
the most powerful but the shortest song of Linkin Park
one of the best songs ever
kevinchris Castillo The shortest is "foreword" from Meteora I believe
Shreyas Sarvagya Does that qualify as a song though?
Qwerty might be the strongest
Nat S. Of course, it's meant to be the start of Don't Stay
I love it, but it's so damn short
That's what she said.
CrazyIvan1988 It's enjoyable cause it's so deep.
It's too damn short, but it's hard. At least you already got a load of that, right?
It just surprised me that it was under 2 minutes
The longer version is in their new album under the title "A line in the sand"
I love the screaming Chester does. Makes me love this band even more
This needs to be longer , seriously I adore this song soo much
"Raaaaaah"
Dlakks 😂😂
That's me when my brother ate the last slice of pizza 😂
That’s where that scream came from lmao just found out it’s frm this song😂😂😂
😂😂
This is the Linkin Park Style we all love!!
That's what I'm saying!
I absolutely love Mikes part
Love how this song keeps changing genres.
I like both new linkin park and old stop hating on them some of their new song are actually pretty good :3
Love the drums in this

i think its more about how you criticize someone, if it isnt constructive criticism it doesen't help anyone really
Agree with both.
I like this album. The entire album.
Critics are essentials, because you need to know what you need to change or keep.
Simply saying "This sucks", "I hate it", or "God why don't they stop making music" helps no one.

My ear's just got blown to pieces from the pure epicness of this track.
I've been waiting for this LP to show up again for 9 years.. a good blast from the past!
This song just gets me so amped. It's a mixture of Wreches and Kings, Bleed is Out, and just plain awesome. Long live, Linkin Park!
wtf.. hard as fuck!! i didnt know this song existed
Have you ever heard of QWERTY?
The end transitions perfectly into Roads Untraveled, so it feels like a 5-6 minute song when you listen to the album as a whole.
i wish this song was longer its so awesome
Love the intro to this. Just saw Linkin Park play it live. Amazing
One of the fantastic songs!!
i love it but its just 1:51 grrrrrrr.... i am gonna get this song and make it 3 with 4 minutes :P
at the start it sounds like a line in the sand
...
+Luca Vukovic, I agree, I thought clicked on the wrong video and that this was a Line in the Sand, also the ending sounds like Road's Untravelled
That's because it's the next track and they fade into eachother
Wheeler67 That's because it IS the beginning for Roads Untraveled. This is also the reason why, in LP's official RUclips channel, they omitted the ending of this song and instead puts it Roads Untraveled, but if you bought the CD or the vinyl it's the opposite.
Man When i play this in gym everyone goes crazy and does some screaming and extra reps
This song is short but still awesome
RIP legend
i like this album cause it's a mix of their older way of music and their newer. hopefully they come up with more! lovin it.
Amazing song why isn't it longer?
Abraham Lozano it's the intro to Roads Untraveled, just like Tinfoil is for Powerless.
I actually love when songs like this remain essentials and don't get done longer just cause
Ohne Flaks, produzier du mal so ein Album, ich finde jedes Lied aus diesem Album ist sehr gut gelungen! Hut ab ...Linkin Park You Never Walk Alone :)
if you hate modern linkin park but love love their heavy stuff than this is the song for you
Th3 Zm0nst3r what do you mean by "modern Linkin park" ? Linkin park was great, Linkin park is great and Linkin park will always remain great. If you hate "modern Linkin park" then you were never a fan of linkinpark
Wish Chester would scream more in future albums
The Hunting Party has that
cesar rodriguez yea I know I was hearing it a while back but thanks though
Ricardo Castillo guess we won't hear any more of that beautiful screaming 💔
Ricardo Castillo :(

love this song!!wish it was longer
I listened to the song too, but i'm glad you had a little sing-a-long :)
Chester has been screaming his lungs out almost every night for more than 12 years, yet he can still do this- BEASTIALITYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

This is possibly one of the most creative bands EVER!
This song is nice!! Really nice!
That intro! O.O Thank you, Mike!

This is the only song which worths it of this album.
SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So happy they went in this direction. I was dreading another ATS.
My all-time favourite from LINKIN PARK
Never said it's a bad thing, I love Linkin Park and Chester can scream anyway he wants, he's a great singer.
12-A Line In The Sand
That was awesome
I was hoping for more than one song like this on the album, but i love the album as a whole anyways :D
THIS is the LP i like!
Kinda reminds me of their older stuff, a little bit. I love it.
R.I.P Chester :'(
Im listening to this song again ;)
Linkin park is not screamo, but this is amazing, not even just the screaming, but the part after screaming is just amazing, that's what Linkin park should continue doing (:
Yesss....if the whole album was more like this (harsh & aggressive vocals, downtuned guitar riff) it would put them back into the rock game.
finally some hybrid theory spice. nice to know they still got it.
Finally the LP i know ...
Oh wow, this is probably the craziest drumming Rob has done on any of their albums :D
once..it's not the best..but then when you listen to it well, you understand that this song is very beautiful.
EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As short as this song is, the lyrics paint out a scene that's even shorter, basically someone leaving someone else for dead.
awesome awesome awesome!!!!!!
uploaded on my birthday
I wish there was more songs like this :(
quite a short song but still one of their best in the album
LOVING IT!!!!!!
Listen to their old stuff bro :P It's the bomb
Never thought I would be headbanging to EDM
NOW I'M MOTIVATED!
Rob's done some awesomly fucking work with tha drums!!!!!!!
I'm kind of surprised no one seems to acknowledge rob's awesome drum skills.
if only for a few short seconds off two minutes... I heard the old.linkin park. Also. Chester's screaming. Good to hear it again. C: welcome back, LP. We've followed you through and through and I think this album will be a hit
i'm victimized by this great music and chesters voice

ICH WILL MEHR GESCHREI!!! :D
Excuse me but their newest album is in fact my favourite of all the others they've released so I am hardly in a position to 'gtfo' thank you very much.
