      glenny oc, what a ridiculous comment. All you have done is proved that you know little if nothing about road race cycling. Please stick to football and the bag of wind kickers, there's a good lad.

    Froome has always been a class man.His upbringing in africa made him a humble and top man.But Froome did feel the Giro in his legs and that's anaother reason he could not attack like he normally can.I am sure he will not do the Giro next next and be fresh for the tour to try to get that fifth title.

    The Reason other teams don't do what sky do is because they have 1/4 of the budget of team sky and can't afford all the top riders!! any person from team sky would be a leader on another team!

    • @adamcoatham
      @adamcoatham 6 лет назад

      owen Vermeulen Katusha and BMC have a fairly similar budget, and don't use it very well (Van Avermaet being the exception)

      Do you know who the interviewer is? President of the Cycling Tourist Club. I think he knows about cycling. Look at how he is enamoured by G. Some serious man-love there.

    It's great to have a British rider to cheer for. It's just sad that Wiggins and Froome made people question the legitimacy of the teams results over the past decade due to their unclear test results. Who knows what really went on. Only the team and riders know for sure.
    A lot of people I know gave up watching cycling when their test results became public knowledge in the media. In a lot of people's minds there's no way back after that kind of negative attention.
    Hopeful Thomas can go some way towards restoring cycling's reputation in the next few years .
    Even though Wiggins and Froome were cleared. Sadly people only remember the questionable initial results. Just like John Jones or Dwain Chambers. Those two are now only seen in a negative light sadly despite their successes so it's difficult for them to help promote the sport to people in the street .

    The fact is if froome wouldve won then sky wouldve suffered for the rest of the year, lets say it was better thomas won, from a pr p.o.v.! - all of paid sport is bent.

    In the euphoria, please do not forget that all results that come from Team Sky have to be seen with a big question mark. I just hope, for the sake of cycling, that this result will stand forever - because cycling does not need another doping scandal.

    • @crazie429

      John Pfister The question marks aren't that big

    • @peterhardie4151

      John Pfister They win because they have better domestiques and are better prepared. Tactically and strategically better too. They rarely have produced unbelievable solo efforts to win races.

    • @urbanjungle9600
      @urbanjungle9600 6 лет назад +3

      Will you say a similar comment about Quickstep and there domination of the classics or perhaps aim an uneducated barb at Peter Sagan who can seemingly win at will without a particularly strong team? BMC seem to smash all Team Trials but again few say anything. Applying your logic then surely criticism is warranted?

  • @darinsteele7091
    @darinsteele7091 6 лет назад +3

    Is it even possible to win the tour without doping? Even many pro cyclists say it's not even possible without doping...

    • @glennoc8585
      @glennoc8585 6 лет назад +1

      Darin Steele but if nobody is doping then you can win by not doping?
