I was a Captain and Training Captain for BMI for over 20 years then Head of Sim Training for British Aerospace Flying College at Prestwick as it was then, and then Head of Sim for Oxford Air Training School. FOR SWING TRADING FOREX--Any trend reversal first starts on lower time frames.Say market is coming down on D1,4H,1H, time frames.Now on 5 minute chart market starts making higher high higher lows--obviously 5 M trend can go up in smoke quite easily--so I would think that it would be prudent to confirm first that trend has ALSO changed on 15M chart(higher highs higher lows) before buying & confirm it by checking that RSI 5 has moved above 50 on 15 M chart as well.We seek your wisdom & experience.
Well i am not a fan of RSI . I like to look at pure price action and i think this is best seen on the lower time frames yes. But not much lower that h1 in my opinion
Hi there, great video as per usual by Mr Andrew Lockwood 👏 👍..I'm just a little confused as why he uses the OHLC bar in his example of the strategy and then when he goes to the live charts he uses the candlestick.... is there a particular reason for that 🤔?? Need some clarity on that?? Sorry I'm a beginner, so forgive my ignorance 🙏

I don't think it's that simple, somebody tried this with a good succes rate ?
I managed to code this into an automated strategy and it works like a charm on various stocks and NQ. It is highly robust

What do you think about that strategy but opening the position when the Stoch RSI indicator shows price is overbought or oversold?
I am not a big fan of too many indicators , but you could always back test to see how you get on

dont look into it too much, same thing, candles just reveals the body more.
It's very important, sharing strategies does make learning faster. i also learned this in the NFC community
