Some years ago we had a summer with thunder storms almost every evening and night. Now, this year we have a summer with record temperature like for instance in Texas (her in CE) but no thunder storms and almost no rain since months. 2 years ago we had absolutely now snow over the whole winter months. This all could be accidental, but what I've observed is that the sun is setting since years every year a little bit more in northern direction. And in comparison to 2 decades ago it becomes very obviousely because I often taped the sunsets.
I've been wondering it's been debated that there has been a noticeable change in the precession of the earth, rapid enough to be noticed over the last 25 years, the only way I could think of proving this incontrovertibley is finding some old solar markings in a cave or on a wall where it clearly shows where winter solstice is supposed to be via a pinpoint of light and where it actually is.
The Tinfoil Tricorn What about Newgrange in County Meath, Ireland. This structure is about 5000 years old and has a chamber at it's centre and a lintel at the entrance to the passage which is lower than the roof of the passage. On the rising of the sun on the winter solstice the sun aligns with the gap between the lintel and the roof at the passage entrance and the light supposedly shines all the way to the chamber (about 40 metres into the mound). How old and precise do you need? I often wonder too, how can that possibly still work? If you think about how the land is moving on the tectonic plates and the numerous accounts of the sun setting in the wrong place. One would assume it is rising in the wrong place too right? There is also Stonehenge in England too and there must be many other ancient structures around the world built for or around sunsets and sunrises. Food for thought. Poo
Dutch you need to invest in the Frame for the Hero3, and put the camera somewhere undercover. It's the only way you'll get decent sounding storm audio.
Great captures ! Toward the end of the video like 1:32 somewhere around there, a big lighting stuck. Dutchsine, here in California I am 45 min away from San Fransisco and we have been having clouds, some winds and heat during this summer. Its been strange.
Crazy weather here in MI. We had a huge thunder clap that shook my apartment building. In 2001 the weather started becoming erratic. I was a park ranger and was struck by lightning plus I was standing in 4 in of water. It took 14 yrs. to recover. Since then I have taken a serious Interest in storms. Noticed also the record heat which here in Flint brings out the worst. 11 dead in 9 days to violence. I was wondering if there has been a change in earths magnetic field ?

The lightning was even more spectacular. 4 bolts in approximately the same area, 3 in another and streaks everywhere. As spectacular as the lightning was, the thunder was even more incredible. Deep deep deep rumblings on top of deep deep thunder. Literally shook the foundation of the 3 story apartment building I live in and I am in the middle. I have not seen a storm like this in about 30 years here...
I've noticed lately in other vids and storms around here. Lots of lightning...very little thunder. Looks like the storms we get around here in SC. I would have had a nice nap with that one...😁

Donna Reeves i seen a lot of the similar storms like you talk about in Minnesota. We are getting a lot of lightning but not a lot of thunder. But when the thunder claps, it will sure let you know its there. Another note to maybe pay attention for is if they are spraying chem trails(cloud seeding) before the storm. This could have an affect on lightning production vs un-seeded clouds. I've seen A LOT more lightning out of seeded storms.

Are they doing this all over the country... in Colorado Springs, CO we saw this about midnight on Sunday 8/9... massive light show and very little thunder 'eerily' lighting up the SE sky on Sunday for a long time, and 48 hours later we had the most horrific flooding, hail and torrents running down our streets... massive flooding all over the city....this is NOT natural.
The more radiation there is,the more lightening storms.Especially heat lightening.This seems like the system that went through Cali a few days ago.Dutch,whats the chance you can do more of your radiation monitor videos?

My hat was blown apart in flames I'm told, leather/fabric work gloves afire and blown into 20 pieces, all my hair was burned off, entire body burned deep red, heart was stopped, could barely hear anything, had four welts like trees get running down my body, and was still kneeling on the centerline on an active 2 lane state highway. If "it's so pretty" I would not know as I was blind.
The weather can be a scary thing, Luckily the tornados are always north or south of me but someday the luck will run out, This year theres been a lot of straight winds damage taking trees down and putting power out
I love the storm. did u know that if u can create a thought in your brain while focusing on a cloud cell then with a *snap*, send that thought Neuron toward the focused cloud cell and you will create a Lightning Trigger. call me crazy, but try it till u really get the results. it's beautiful.

lol, i just worked the weird clouds out....it is the rain drops on ya waterproof cam! :) anyway, good storm nontheless, but observed so far that only 'sheet' lightning, no bolt lightning so far......hmmmm
I saw the same thing with a storm coming through Nevada. The lightening is extreme. I couldn't even see because it was so bright. I believe because our earth is changing because of the sun. That our atmosphere and magnetosphere is being compressed down. This then is bringing the storms lower with the clouds and this is why they are worse and more dangerous for wild fires and people. It is best to stay inside and not to touch anything electric while these storms take place, expecially now that our earth and atmosphere is changing. Get Saved Jesus is returning soon.

Yeah, i live in Farmington. An hour south of south county. The wind and lightening was unreal!!

Yeah that storm really started forming just after it passed over Saint James MO, we were hit by the second wave around 1:30 AM
