I did find the yarn at dollar tree. I bought a black one and a garnet one. Working on a crochet poncho and I really don't like the yarn. It's spun so tight that it's rather thin and krinkled ....kinda like curly yarn. I started with black and hoped the garnet would be better but both skeins are the same. Poncho is almost done, then I'll try it in my Addi to check the results. I'm hoping for a much smoother stitch than I'm getting with crochet. Only if it comes out nice on the machine I'll buy more.
@BrendaBurl oh I hate to hear that.... only one spot in the white was like that and didn't last but maybe 5 DC stitches. I wouldn't like it if they were all like that... hopefully washing does help.... let me know?
@KathyDouglass yeah I do think I'm going to at least use it on the cuffs. Maybe once I get to the toes I may add it there too.... Thanks! Have you used your R&R yet?
@@DaybreakKnotsKnits yes, I made dk socks with It. They came out so nice but I think I enjoy using the fingering weight better. Not sure why since dk works up faster but I’m not into speed. I also use 9” circular for all of the six pairs I have made last year. I make items one after the other. Especially when it’s complex for me like socks are. I need complete quiet and concentration.
I picked those up a week ago. Those are the colors I saw too
@smithkk89 Yeah, mine was slow getting them put out, but I'm glad they finally did!
Yes! I just saw them at my dollar tree. I got the garnet and forest green one. Considering how much 1 pound yarns typically go, this was a great deal!
@morningpieces It really was!! I buy alot of Caron one pound and this was by far cheaper even with me using coupons on the Caron.

I have ordered from Ruby and Roses in dk socks. I would use the mini for cuffs and toe. But that’s me. Kathy from Maine 🍎

@KathyDouglass oh I adore my socks and delight in making them so I get it!
The stores in my area still don't have them.....
@@joshuamundt1426 wow.... maybe they will be getting them still... some store in Georgia just got theirs out today.
My Dollar Tree has not had any arrive yet. I check everyday and I've become such a nuisance they answer me as soon as I walk in the door.. .😅
@mycrochetstory7169 I totally get it! Hopefully soon they'll get it in and you can grab some 😁
