If I'm the Chargers, why wouldn't I draft Marvin Harrison Jr?
You lost one top WR, and the other one is aging.
You have a top QB, so why not get him the best weapon in the draft?
You can reduce payroll, and upgrade the position at the same time

I would hazard a guess it's because they lost 2 starting WR, TE, and RB. They need to draft for volume, and it's a very deep WR draft anyways. If the Chargers can pickup high value picks for next year it's a smart bet as they'll be looking to move on from Mack and Bosa as soon as they can.
