WOW IS SHE EVER FIRST CLASS!! SHE HAD TO HAVE BEEN CONCERNED BOISTEROUS AND KINDA WIERD IN THOSE DAYS, BUT MAN OH MAN! DO I WISH THE LADY WAS TO GRACE OUR CAMERAS, UTUBE AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD SHOW SOME ACTORS WHAT TALENT REALLY IS.
I was thinking about cashing my chips, then I saw the VHS tape of the Stork Club and it made me feel much better cause I was sick at the time and depressed.

The colorization is rather dull for this lively, spirited Hollywood musical of the 40's. What it needed was the brightness of a Betty Grable opus like When my baby smiles at me or The beautiful blonde from bashful bend. A Betty Hutton musical is always top fare so the colorization should have been thriving with luscious color. This one lacks that expectation. Still Ms. Hutton was and will always be a top draw. She acted like no other and stole the show from anyone that ever played with her or opposite her. Even in Annie Get Your Gun, she made mince-meat of Howard Keel. She couldn't help it; she exuded this dynamism that few actors possessed. She sure was a live-wire.
A person that is kind and doesn't have to look for something in return, giving out of the goodness of their heart. The person has, and maybe has seen me toiling in the workplace a restaurant I once worked for, or a factory that I once worked in, or finally a Hotel in which I once shaked that persons hand and that persons has Hotels worldwide.

Andy Russell’s first film. Wonderful singer and very popular in the day. Sadly practically forgotten.

Hutton just like Grable was so much more attractive in technicolor.
So was Garland and Lamour,
