Different application, but check out the SF47 (not the T). Dual 21700, quad emitter, so wider hotspot, sideswitch only, but lets you press'n'hold for moonlight regular click to your last-used mode, and doubleclick for turbo. I think the SF47T has a tailswitch as well, but is cumbersome to use for a 2-cell light, which is why I way way prefer the regular SF47.
Hi there, I did not know there is a SF47 but I own and use the SF47T (it is in my car): ruclips.net/video/FfV7xHVNg6Q/видео.html I get your point with the tail switch for longer lights, however, I still prefer to have one.
Yes, a good flashlight with good sustainable output.. gotta get one.. Regarding the usb cover; i simply cut out the tiny flap, done that to some of my torches. I agree to put a piece of tape as an insurance when doing heavy task. Thank you for the review. Cheers
I was thinking about 3D printing some kind of cover but those silicone slabs/flaps are quite good. I was actually snorkeling with lights from Sofirn/Wurkkos which had those ports. However, when using a light often (i.e. on the shift, pushing it in and out of holsters etc.) it can come off or open through friction. That is very, very unlikley with C8 lights as the oversize head protects the port pretty well. The C8L fits great between "pocket rockets" and really big lights, for me it fills this gap perfectly! Thank you for checking out my review and commenting! - Markus
@@wearandtear6692 Thats quiet sophisticated to 3d print stuff, i simply cut the flaps, so next time its open, its opened intentionally. And i'm also concern about that non- inline design of a charge port cover as seen in that Thrunite and some newer Sofirn edc. ( i also think sofirn takes thrunite as a patron regarding design,ui etc.) I follow your review quiet a lot, sp33v3, Wurkkos fc12 that you compare with 'the Olight, C8s-C8a etc.. and those swans.. 😊.. not your subscriber yet Markus.. but i always enjoy good review, especially from people that use their torch in their activity and bring objective view for the usage of their torch. @@relayerrelayer8226 just charging my Wurkkos WK30 getting ready for Croatia. Might need some UV to study critters. I will bring the Sofirn IF22A for compact range and other than that a couple of dive lights. I will not bring a swan, only my wife's "blow up flamingo". I can't deal with swan lights. The BLF LT1 is also one of those. I can't stand the user interface, it is utterly useless. Operating that thing is like performing a ritual. My 30 USD generic lantern does a way better job with a rotating knob, push button color switch and a display showing me the charge. Maybe, one fine day, you subscribe. Thank you for your comment!
@@wearandtear6692 Enjoy your time Markus, and cheers to your wife.. the lady with the 'red torch'😊.. Regarding lantern, LT1s is simpler.. O this is a fine day , just subbed😊 Cheers
Very nice flashlight and again a very informative and interesting review and presentation👍 I like the tailswitch and the 21700 battery a lot. Great Job, Buddy! Also still loving my C8F from out early deal and Witz 21700 i would love it even more.
My eye says neutral white. Should be the 5000K as I can tolerate the light color well for outdoor use. Also shining the light on my cat right now it renders the correct, pleasant color and pattern it shows in normal daylight. Anything colder is just awful and I would notice it.

Thank you! Yeah, the C8F is a nice multiemitter light. It lacks a tailswitch as far as I remember.
No, it have a tailswitch, but only 18650. So in higher output-modes it last not very long.
@@BushBear yeah, 21700 and batteries in general are mostly sold in specialized shops. Amazon.de hardly has any decent offers.
Have a real good Light and Looks Not soooo big
Yeah, it is a keeper for me!
