I love the moment when Ruyi and the emperor have that little look between them and start giggling.
I wish the show ended with Ruyi being made Empress. Then we wouldn't see her suffer through so much 🥺

Esplendidas escenografías, exquisitas ropas de época, bellísimos escenarios naturales. China actualmente se está abriendo al mundo. Yo tenía un acotado y equivocado concepto sobre el " comunismo " de la nación China. Y en base a eso interpretaba a la idea del adoctrinamiento como un lavado de cerebro. Pero la gente cambia, las naciones cambian y evolucionan. Hoy en el año 2024 China está demostrando al mundo que esa fea palabra : "adoctrinamiento" también puede interpretarse como una idea en donde todos los habitantes de un país se organizan para crecer en comunidad y llevar a su país a una grandeza sin precedentes. Quizá ese lavado de cerebro no sea tan así. Un gran abrazo a nuestros hermanos y amigos chinos. Mi mayor de los respetos y admiración.

Hongli failed miserably when he was tested with women and power. Ruyi passed the test with flying colours by proving to everyone (including Hongli himself) that she never cared about riches and power when she walked away from it all when she realized that the love between them was gone.
