hello. i am a big fan of yours and your content output however better help are a very insidious company selling peoples mental health data to various private medical companies and advertisers. its really nefarious and breaches so much trust for the person seeking therapy. a lot of the therapists on better help are barely even qualified to deal with mental health problems and i can’t help but feel sad you have chosen to partner with them. you might not have any idea of their practices but this company is not to be trusted for the sake of the already potentially vulnerable people using the service and for anyone concerned with their data protection
A Winnipeg tour would be dope. I’m from Vancouver and I feel it’s very rare people visit Winnipeg unless you have family there(us vancouverites can be snobs, that’s not secret). since you mentioned that you liked 'passages' so much i wanted to recommend two other movies that are similar (at least imo). Christian Petzold's movies in general are amazing but especially 'Undine' is so good. Also 'Afire' is so so amazing, was one of my favourite movies from 2023. & basically any movie Franz Rogowski starred in is really good. :)) love your videos!!

i just watched passages .it was so good.
I'm reading Molly right now and I'm really enjoying it. Molly is a fascinating and heartbreaking person. I think Blake does a pretty good job at trying to depict a well rounded picture of her, but, while it's clear that Molly is quite mentally ill throughout their relationship, his feelings that a lot of her actions/behaviors are done to hurt him are frustrating, especially as this is written looking back and not in the middle of the moment. He has the right to feel upset, of course, but he keeps commenting as if there was no other motivation for these behaviors. Like when he was saying she would cancel on going out each time they made plans and he made it about him, saying that she was trying to hurt him ... bro, she's seriously depressed? That's like a depression 101 symptom. I also get this feeling like he thought if he loved her enough, she shouldn't be ill anymore, that she just wasn't accepting his love, which is why she was struggling mentally. And then his note at the end that his new wife "saved [his] life with love," ugh, again not how mental health works at all.
