I like to see the clear unobstructed glazing on the rear of some of these excellent, high quality models. On the two tone red National Express West Midlands version denoting the 50 service to Druids Heath the rear upper deck and lower deck windows are masked by vinyl-over lay route branding. Spoils the effect to some degree. Now, with the arrival of new two tone grey MMC double deckers on the 50 route, this branding is now obsolete and you cannot remove this from the model. Yolu would damage the glazing and plastic base underneath using the usual nail varnish remover. would sooner have them clear of any branding like this Stagecoach version.
Yes, Graham mck, and very clean and unspoiled they look as well! The London Stagecoach and Go Ahead London versions of the MMC also have clean unbranded rears. I collect London bus and Travel West Midlands bus models. Am awaiting the release, (and I think they are up for release next) of the two tone grey National Express West Midlands MMC with route branding (again!) for the X1 route to Coventry. Looking forward to receiving these - I have 3 on order from my local model shop stockist - but am disappointed these too are route branded! Don't want to sound like I am complaining, but I do wish they could choose a neutral, purely clear livery on these, purely on the basis of customer choice. I wonder if any other model collectors who are fans of NatEx model collecting would share my opinion of this or not?
@@stuartsharman3055 are u getting the first Glasgow one with the yellow route banding. They will have no Mirrors as like the real bus. It has cameras instead on wing mirrors.
@@grah84mck No, I don't think so, Graham Mck. But is that UK6510, due for release after the London Abellio bus, registered YY67GZW? In any event, I would guess that First Glasgow model without the wing mirrors probably WON'T have that obtrusive route branding worn by both NatEx models. They're like ugly, staining tattoos. I would urge Northcord to issue a NatEx MMC without them...please. I think I will consider adding that First Glasgow to my collection after all, Graham Mck. Will give it an outside edge consideration. Thanks. Vented my spleen on the route branding issue again. Like I repeat here, do any other collectors agree with me?
Great model there. I have the Bluestar version which is a nice model for it consists. I plan to more of them including this one :).
Aye they are good models.. got all of them so far. Few Scottish ones to come looking forward to them.
My son will love that
Wow looks really cool and good
