Thank you to the Schoenfeld ISC. What a joy to be in New York and still be able to enjoy this moving performance! Although Anastasia placed second, I am sure the listening public will be the ultimate judge and embrace her as the wonderful musician she is. The winner was accurate and deserving, but as a concert goer (and ticket buyer!...), I seek an artist of Ms. Kobekina's caliber when I leave my home and travel into the City for concerts at Carnegie Hall!

      David Herridge .
I've only recently discovered this wonderful young artist and fully agree with the sentiments above . No matter how brilliant a performance is with a great artist there is that indefinable extra something that surges out and touches the public . Like a ravishing sonority and sensual musical integrity generously expressed and its all present here . She is still so young but I think she is now beyond competitions . However they may still be necessary when building a career but to me she is already a star whose performances would draw me there.

@@1915july: The different competitions since then show that she is factual a great star with her instrument but still modest and not arrogant: shortly said very charming!

Just amazing playing of the soloist!!!!! I find it a pity that the orchestra seems so cold and indifferent. What is the point of making music when you not are warm and enthousiastic about it? Then you better should work in an office.

Yes, the difference between her inspired, expressive performance and theirs is extraordinarily obvious.

I don't think that way. Whoever choose classic music career must love it. It is a very difficult path. Just listen to the music instead of looking their face.
