Thanks billy you're the best in keeping Elvis Presley alive thanks and God bless you my friend !!! Amazing how you always find these beautiful people that take time to talk to you !!!! 😉😉
I attended this conert, my only Elvis concert and my ultimate dream come true. I've written about it and given interviews about it. The most AmAZING event of my life. I actually work very near the old Stouffer's, which is now owned by Ivy Tech Community College. There's no access to the floor Elvis supposedly used, though; I've tried, believe me. The very top floor is a restaurant. However, this gets mysterious, as I met a woman who worked at the downtown Indianapolis Hilton, and she had information that Elvis himself stayed there.
Hey Spa Guy. Long time Elvis fan and follower of your channel. Decided to comment on this video. Anyway, I had heard for years before seeing actual pics that Elvis stormed out of the downtown Indianapolis Hilton Netherlands just before the last concert due to the a/c in his room being on the fritz. It never said where he went or what hotel he went to. Now you provided the answer. I drove past the Hilton last year. Definitely is the hotel. No mistaking the gold Art Deco front entrance. Thanks for all your efforts in keeping his memory alive. Joe.
You're right Spa Guy!! I had my cities mixed up. My aunt saw him in Cincinnati on that date at Riverfront Stadium then drove to Indianapolis to see him the following day.
Thanks for another great history lesson. We have a Elvis plaque here in Madison, Wisconsin commemorating the site where Elvis, on his last visit a few months before he passed, had his limo driver pull over because he saw some guys beating up a gas station attendant. He jumped out of the limo and scared them off with some karate moves. The station is no longer there but I videotaped a recreation of the event when they put the plaque up. The coliseum he performed in that same night is still here, now called Allient Energy Center and the Edgewater hotel he rented out the top 2 floors is also still here.
When I was 17yrs. Old which was in 1989, I actually got a job at Market Square Arena, and I worked there until 1997, there was alot of history in that arena, and I remember 1 of the guys that worked there, who worked there when Elvis did his last concert, showed me the dressing room that some of Elvis entourage used. So for me, that is my memory of that job, just seeing some of the behind the scene areas when I worked there. But as I said that was 12yrs. After the last concert, but it was still an amazing piece of history.
Thank you Billy, for another interesting & important piece of Elvis history. I also appreciate your excellent 'Glory II' flying skills. All good things, Brian.
I hate that they tore the arena down. There's been so much of that happening over the last twenty years or so. But, unfortunately, that's progress. Thanks for all you do to bring these videos to us. You do a great job!
Love❤️ this ELVIS history. Hope the time capsule remains until 2102,when it's time for the opening. Whatever changes for progress take place, I hope the time capsule remains and Indianapolis keeps It standing in place, to honor the memory of ELVIS. This is a important part of history for all. Thank You, everyone, who made this all happen.❤️✌️TCB⚡ Thank You, Billy, for your persistence, hard work and sharing It for everyone to see and enjoy. 3-2-22
This came onto my feed, which is weird to me. I like Elvis, but I don’t listen to him very often. My dad was absolutely obsessed with Elvis when I was younger. He still loves him, but ended up giving away his Elvis things. I have lived in Indiana my entire life. I have moved to Indianapolis recently and I have spent a lot of time downtown. I knew his last concert was played here, but I didn’t know there was a whole time capsule or that they took down the stadium. Alabama St is very familiar to me and I’m sitting here like 😳😅 thank you for this video!! I shared it with my dad (although I’m sure he already knew about all this lol)
Another fantastic video Spa Guy. Just a helluva shame that Elvis's last concert building was demolished. Infact watching that short clip of the arena coming down is really sad to see.👍😎
I live an hour from Indy! I’m an Elvis fan because of my grandma who passed away back in 2001, I knew the time capsule was there but I had no idea where the hotel was! I live in terre haute where Elvis once played! It pains me that I wasn’t around back then to see him in concert
How cool! I believe my grandma had actually went to that concert! I knew he was here, and I’ve hear a few people talk about meeting him I believe at at mall in our town, I can’t wait for your video!
É sempre uma grande emoção ver histórias reais, locais e acontecimentos sobre a vida do nosso querido, amado e inesquecível Elvis Presley. Obrigada Billy. Grande trabalho. Grande abraço, Brasil.
Very interesting and filled with thank you another well done video. That was sorta ironic that he stayed on Alabama Street and his last concert was on Alabama Street thank you Mr. Billy I really enjoy your videos on Elvis
Of course I LOVED the information within this video, but the editing and production of it was awesome! I loved the drone work at the end. I never knew about the the time capsule at the location of the last performance. Awesome job! TCB⚡
I agree too I am so glad I never got to go see Elvis in concert but I have watched all his movies and every time that there was anything thing on about Elvis I made sure to watch it and I watch now still all the show and story about him I got to go to Graceland when my son was 15 years old we stayed up all nigth at the motel rigth down the street from Graceland and he got to watch all Elvis movies and then the next day we went to Graceland and took the whole tour thought Elvis home and we got to go and visit and see his grave and his mom and dad at the house I love Elvis and I will till I die and listen and watch all his movies all over again and again till I leave this world
Was just listening to some of Elvis Gospel music when the notification popped up. Can't get enough of the precious , beautiful humble man called Elvis Presley. Love your videos Spa Guy.
Thank you so much for sharing this she was a lovely lady I'm so glad that they all got together and did all that so the future of our Elvis will keep growing and they will know what a wonderful person he was not just an Entertainer but a human being that we love so much God bless you so much for sharing everything with us
Alabama Elvis 1st & last . That’s ...... classic.Thank you so much for filming this video.very informative as always.& Thank you Kay.we really enjoyed it. England 🇬🇧
saw many shows at MSA over the years, my last show there was Elvis The Concert, that tour had the Imperials as the backing quartet...as a side note, as I was sitting there pre-show, they played the entire Toto Fahrenheit album over the sound system, pretty complete experience for me! I miss the venue, but I definitely finished on a high note
My stepfather was on the close security detail, and received a gift from Elvis, it was a golden 3 × 2.5 Cross with Jesus on it.... its pretty cool.. from this show
Hello, I live in Indianapolis. I wish that I knew you was in town .I would of loved to meet you and talk about Elvis. Your stuff you do is great to see on U-tube .keep up the good work .Jottie Davidson .... Elvis fan !
Thanks fotr the tour Billy, at Indianapolis Indiana the place Elvis had hid very last consert. Thanks to Kay Lipps for take care of TCP , and for she put the marker there !

Thank you very much for the wonderfully detailed information and for the work on this that you did. Pretty amazing. I have been through Indiana quite a few times and never had the opportunity to stop so I am glad you have taken us there.
Great. Post. Billy. Was. Waiting. For. This. A. Long. Time. Thanks. Love. To see. Video when. He. Performed. At. The. Municipal. Auditorium. In. Nashville. In. 1973.
You were only about 2 hours east of Champaign IL, where Elvis played at the Assembly Hall (Now State Farm Center) on Oct 22, 1976. The building resembles a UFO and is still in operation. It has undergone some remodeling in recent years but pretty much looks the same as when Elvis was there.
SUPERELVISFAN this Madam KAY LIPPS, love her indeed for that erected EP MARKER. Thanks a lot Mr. Billy for your neverending video fresh EP surprises!!!
Love this you came right through my home town of Louisville, Kentucky, i live not far from where Elvis's grandpa Jesse lived an he is buried in the same cemetery as my grandson
Another great video. 👍 You should come over to Scotland and visit Prestwick Airport as its the only place Elvis visited in the UK when he was returning from army in Germany. It's nice because Presley is a Scottish name and I believe Elvis's family tree goes way back to Scotland. 👍
Just watched this Billy and also saw Elvis in one of last concerts introduced his band and Ogden played short piece like other members did ! Thanks for u have given me !
Thanks for this video...wish they had not destroyed the Arena, but thanks to Kay for what she did...I will not be here when it's opened ,but I will be sure to tell my great- grand's about it and maybe they will...❤️🎧🎹🎤🎼

Theoretically, Elvis' DNA might still be on that scarf when the time capsule is opened. Kay, you may just have Taken Care of Presley in a most definitive way.
My mom has a scarf from Elvis after he wiped his forehead!! I was 10 yrs old and I was at the concert in the 3rd row!! My aunt got the flu!! So I got to go!! April 77 Toledo ohio
Greetings Spa guy , absolutely love your videos and the meticulous attention to detailing important sites and Elvis stories from years past with people who were close to him and others like all of us , grateful fans of THE KING. I was on a road trip couple of weeks ago and there was a line of people waiting for a coffee drink walking buy was former President Bill Clinton people greeted him graciously as he walked by a little girl with her mom behind me said hi to him and asked him if she can ask him one question,,,..he smiled and said "sure" who is your favorite singer in the whole world ? who makes you happy when you hear their music.? WOW I was thinking . The President shook his head and said " there is many but there is only one I love his music " he bent down and said Elvis Presley ....
Went to Graceland, pronounced Gracelund, for the first time in my 54 years, Monday. On Sunday after I checked into the Guest House I walked to Vernon's house, took a few pics of the grounds over the Blvd. wall and a couple of gate pics. I even saw a couple Spa Guy stickers up. Elvis is the first entertainer I became a fan of. My mom always had different music playing, but she was a big Elvis fan so it was inevitable. Though it didn't work on my older brother. Love the vids., and thanks for taking the time to put them together.
Another excellent video Spa Guy. Throughly enjoyed this one. It's a shame that many of these landmarks that were important to us Elvis fans are being taken down and replaced by hotels, companies, apartments etc. I realize that progress is enevitable. So I guess as long as they are agknowledging the fact that these were places of importance with plaques and so forth. It's the best we can do. But don't mean to sound like I'm playing favorites. But if Elvis had performed his last concert here down in the south. Y'all can bet we'd do everything possible to make sure that arena, venue or concert hall would be declared a place of historical significance. And would not suffer the fate of being imploded.
June 26th is my dads Bday also and he and my mom were gonna go to that concert for his bday but his boss wouldn't let him off work. And they found out Elvis was coming to Louisville in August which is where we live so he figured he'd just go then. Ofcourse we know what happened and my dad never got to see Elvis live. I wasnt born until 79 so obviously I didn't either but have always been a huge fan.
Thank u Billy a great job u do. It's wonderful. Love all the stories u do. 4 us Elvis fan. Thank Kay 2.

Always thought it ironic that Elvis' last concert also happened to fall on the Colonel's birthday - June 26th.
