You usually get good used guitar pretty decent money. Most of the time its much better investment to buy used one, better bang for your money. I would say you get definitely a good quality used one for beginner with 150-250$.
Very nice. A tip I have is, currently it sounds like you're almost trying to fill all the space with sound. Instead, try and break up what you're playing into a series of phrases, where each phrase is trying to express some meaning, or have some melodic theme. You'd be surprised how much empty space you can have been phrases. Think something like call and response.
Great improv! That right hand technique looks mighty tiring though. Maaaaybe investigate altering your right hand technique in the future (curling all fingers in, not resting fingers on the guitar etc. sounds impossible and definitely takes practice, but you won't need fingers to guide your pick and your hand will be able to move freely) , might make playing even more satisfying than it already is...
Good question, predominately I don't use any scales believe it or not, I just know the fretboard very well and choose each note individually. Then I know the 4 basic pentatonic/ blues scales that I use to varying degree depending on the genre (mainly blues).
Saving up for an electric guitar, this video just made me more excited for it :))

I would love to know what did you mean by improvisation. Does the scale or modes you using are altered or mixed?
Lovely tune anyway 😊
