You should have kept the name doordarshan and should have kept it free until you gain the largest numbers of subscribers. After that you can start charging bit by bit. Current strategy is not good for future of the app.
When you want to fail the competitor's app, place your people in the management. Same thing happened with DD. Giants like jio want to fail waves. Subscription from the first day, that too hefty amount.. Where is the download link?
