On the road is one thing, being in a different country is another. Usually people that work at oil rigs and stuff move with their family and agree on the choice, where as, yes musicians make tons of money, but they go to places they don't necessarily want to go to, not because they don't like it, but because it's far from their family, cause it's really inefficient to fly your family around/drive them around every week/day depending on the concert schedule. When you are away from those who love you because of military, college, job or just because of where life has brought you, you understand the homesickness in their voices. Even when life is great, you miss them. They are happy for you, but they miss you too. Its hard to capture this essence without sounding dumb or weak and this song does this beautifully.
