Love these videos Shyway. This was my gameplay you were breaking down, really glad you could give me some tips. Definitely one of the worst games I've had in a while and it's nice to see what I could have done differently.

Always good to accept criticism, and even criticize yourself at times. Especially after a loss. I always think about how I could have played a life differently. Very often, just 1 play can change an entire game. Play your life is one of the biggest mistakes I made for so long. Since I've began doing that more. I feel I not only improved myself, but help my teammates do better consistently as well. Because I set them up for assists against distracted enemies all game.
Only a minute in and already loving it! I love this content, so Shyway please keep up this sort of content.
FYI, the music makes this 1000x better.
Single-handedly teaching the current and next generation of Halo players. I lack a lot of legacy knowledge the top level players have, so these kinds of videos are very helpful! Always learning and improving. It's about the journey, not the destination. I have tons of Infinite gameplay on this channel, would love to have you critique and help me find holes in my gameplay!

The halo community (especially content creators and pros) are just too negative and i think we need more people like you in the makers space of halo content creation. One thing you said in another video that I am trying to focus on is getting my gun in the fight. I used to be MR Flank. I was all about flanking and getting behind. And after one of these videos I realized that in some instances it might pay off, but 2-3 teammates might die in the process, decreasing the chances of success
I'm only D2, tag is Red Baron GBG, but hopefully I can get up to more mid to high diamond from these tips!

Awesome content. Great edits not only talking what might have been better but enacting it replicating the scenario. Nice touch the explicit addition of halo OST titles.
The video help me a lot because breakdowns of lower Diamond players and Platinum players focus on thinhs they miss that are completely different from the ones you mention in this video.
I haven't played ranked for a year, but when I last played, I was around Diamond 3 I think. There are some games where I just POP off and play very well. I've had my fair share of bad games though LOL.

I struggle with deaths, diamond 3 with around 100 hours. Just feel like i die 4-5 times more than my teammates do although I'm still going positive. You're videos are immensely helpful, so thank you so much!

Halo is the only FPS game that doesn’t have stupid weapon attachments, perks, killstreaks, and you don’t die in 1-2 bullet(s) from every gun. It takes that one thing game devs don’t like adding to their game…oh right. SKILL AND AIM.
Hard disagree on the implication that low to instant ttk = doesn't need aim, just requires flick accuracy and crosshair placement more than tracking. High ttks just prioritize tracking more, different skillset.
I could probably reccomend the finals though if youre looking for another tracking based shooter that dosent have killstreaks and perks and all that. Its a class based objective heavy shooter that needs a lot of teamwork.
Personally not a fan of the direction theyre taking it this season, since theyre really pushing a defusal gamemode which lacks imo, but generally its a solid game worth at least checking out. Since i haven't been playing it ive been getting that fill from halo lately. Vice versa may work if youre looking for a change up.

I used to be Onyx shortly after release, but I've been struggling since I got back into the game. At first I thought it was because of the switch to bandit but now that I've gotten 100+ kills consistently in the ODST FFA you suggest, I'm not sure that's the issue.

Note that 100+ kills is what I'd expect for this challenge around Plat 6, for onyx level in the challenge you're looking at ~140-150+, although there's more to your rank than performance in this gametype ofc. Cool, thx!

Ranked is a completely different animal. If you don't get a "perfect" your'e gonna die. Fiesta is good practice for power weapons but they're next to nonexistent in ranked besides the sniper. Its all about the bandit.

All this shit goes out the window when half your team is 5-21. You have to have teammates that can hold positions. Every time I win 1 maybe two ranked games the next 3 I get steamrolled . Getting two teammates shooting barely 40 percent and under 100 shots hit. Like how ?
I love melee too much but apparently I need to love it less for ranked.

Please analyze my clip. GT JClap. I play every night, typically solo ranked can't level up. Typically 60 --65 accuracy, KD varies.
Solo queuing in infinite is gaming hell. Doesn’t matter, sbmm will keep you within a tight range. It will not allow you to progress.
I agree. It is so much harder solo q in ranked. 343 should have that calculated into how much a loss and a win impacts rank when solo. Bringing solo q ranked playlist back

The longer you play and better you get the less points your awarded. Be prepared to get ranked down. I was plat 3 a day ago now busted to gold. I consistently shoot +60% accuracy and get MVP almost every game. Even with +30 kills I'll only get 6/7 points because of my hidden MMR. And when i lose i get penalized -10/-11. Its a broken system. I watch career rank bronze and silver with the worst stats boost up to diamond skill rank no problem leaving me behind in the dust.
