You and Lucy Wood are my top two content creators, it's like being with a friend, and your videos make me feel so calm. Thank you so much for all your hard work on them, I really appreciate the effort you clearly put in ❤ you and Alex deserve all the happiness in the world!!
Such a cute vlog! I’m Canadian but my family is originally from Cornwall. I’d love to visit someday. Thanks for taking us on a tour of the area. Also, wishing you both a very happy anniversary! 😊
It looked like a wonderful day for you and Alex. Happy Anniversary and many, many more to come. My husband and I celebrated our 40th on September 1st. Maybe for our next we’ll revisit where we met. Thanks for bringing us along.
I really enjoyed this video, it's great to see you, Alex and Roxy out exploring the majestic coastline and countryside in Cornwall. I live in Devon and I often have to pinch myself as a reminder to get out there and appreciate the beauty that surrounds. I absolutely love Cornwall, some of my happiest times have been camping there, slightly out of the summer season. Exploring places such as Carn Euny ancient village, Men-an-Tol, amongst other ancient sites. It brings my world into perspective and it's so good for my mental and spiritual self. The coastline between Lands end and St Ives is absolutely stunning! Nanjizal Bay is like the warmest hug, I could go on about how much I love this place forever. The road {B3306} from St Ives to St Just must be one of the most scenic routes in our country, you can even travel by bus, hopping on and off. Thank you Madeleine, this video has truly inspired me to get out there and experience this beautiful world.
I was about to say it's so lovely to see the kindness between you but then you pointed out the landslide to a clearly v nervous husband😉 The Cornish coastline looked absolutely stunning and as you say when you see how magnificent mother nature is it makes you feel v insignificant. Would love more scenic trips out. Happy anniversary💜
What a wondrous place. I was born in Gravesend, a totally different vibe! :). All of my relatives were from the Cornwall, Devon, Plymouth area tho so this was so lovely to see. I live on the southern end of Vancouver Island now which has a large poplulation of bears. We have black bears in our yard quite often and recently had a cougar in our yard. Vancouver Island has the larges population of cougars in the world strangely. Makes me so hesitant to get out there and explore the wonders as you can.
You passed my old house! ❤ I also grew up and lived in St.Just for many years with my children ❤ The Coast path from St.Just to Lands End is also STUNNING!!! Its just over 4 miles and do-able in an afternoon ❤
@MadeleineOlivia you can walk from St.Just free car park down through Cot Valley which is STUNNING, to the cliff path to Sennen, stop for fish and chips in Sennen, and catch the St.Just bus back to the car park. I thoroughly recommend it. You can also walk from St. Just down through Kenidjack Valley to the beautiful rocky cove there and up to Cape Cornwall, which is equally recommended. It's a very, very pretty part of Cornwall.
Maddie and Alex happy 2nd wedding anniversary. Lovely vlog. Thank you for sharing ❤️ Maddie I'm reading Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier and I Googled Jamaica Inn and I can't believe it's still standing and open.
Happy anniversary ❤ Thanks for sharing your trips. And yes, please, to more trips around Cornwall 🙏🥰 I've read so many books that take place there and it's a dream to visit someday, so it would be wonderful to "go on trips" with you 😃
Okay in terms of future Cornwall trips, I've visited Cornwall from the States (and while living in London) a few times and have absolutely loved Launceston and Bude. Also Liskeard. Also the Eden Project. Anyway I'll be happy to explore more of wherever you find yourself! I miss Cornwall soooo much, especially this time of year.
Lovely vlog. Reminds me of beautiful holidays spent in Cornwall. You should write a blog on top vegan restaurants/cafes in Cornwall and write recipes of veganised Cornish food.
Great video Maddie! It's so fun when you and Alex are out and about! Skin, hair, amazing and your outfits so cute! Saw your evening in , you were watching Practical Magic! I suggested last year and you remembered watching with your sister , years ago! 1998! Now they plan to make a part 2 ! Can't wait! Most importantly, Happy Anniversary and many more! 🎉💕!
Happy Wedding Anniversary ! The CHEESE RING is NOT man made!. It is a natural rock formation! It is formed by the weathering of granite slabs! Lands End is also made up of granite which underwent the same type of weathering. That is why they look similar! NO those cliff stacks at Lands End are NOT man made. Only the small stacks on top of the cliffs, where the sign was, were man made!! Ps. Going out and enjoying where you live, you should do all the time.. not just on your anniversary!!!... also doing that is not being a tourist... it's living and enjoying your local surroundings! I do it where I live at present and when home at my parents in Cornwall we are always out and about in all my favourite childhood places and new ones. Lands End is horrible.. an overpriced tacky tourist spot and total rip off! My kids hated it. You can no longer take a photo next to the sign yourself. It is much nicer to just go on the coastal walk, or as you say, park and just walk to the cliffs.
So lovely felt like I was there with you both! So nice to see more of Cornwall as we are planning to come on holiday next year! Landsend looks so nice, beautiful coast. Congratulations on your anniversary ❤
Honestly such pure Sunday evening escapism via your beautiful vlog is just what I needed right now ❤ Always such fabulous music on your vlogs too (except at the pub in St Ives ofc!) X
Happy Anniversary, thanks for bringing us along on your trip. It was great to see Sennan again as I’ve had a couple of really nice holidays there and enjoyed the walk to Lands End. You’ve just reminded me of how beautiful it is there and that I’m overdue for a return trip
Looks like a beautiful part of the world. Want to visit someday, only across the water in Northern Ireland so no excuse 🤎 Also, I just placed an order for the serum on And Begin. 🤞
This was one of the most comforting and most beautiful vlogs I've watched in a very long time! My fiancé and I travelled through most parts of Cornwall in 2022 and since then I can't stop thinking about it. I could really see us living there in the future🥰
What a wonderful vlog. It’s important to recreate and celebrate happy memories, you both looked very relaxed & happy. Thank you for sharing it with us. Best wishes Karen 🤎🍂🍁🧡
I recommend reading - The Salt Path!!! I think you’d love it, just because you talked about walking stretches of the Cornish coast path Loved your video as always xx
If any watchers or you Maddy are in Carbis Bay, go to Yvettes Pantry! It's vegetarian but she does delicious vegan food, I run vegan hiking holidays and Yvette catered the lunches for my group every day, they were absolutely delicious :)
Happy anniversary! I love your traveling video parts and your cooking parts, well all the parts. We visited St Ives & the Poldark area briefly prior to covid. It definitely deserves a lengthier stay. My ancestry shows a Cornwall relative. Depending on the US election results I wonder if an extended exploration is possible? 🤔😍 Thanks again for sharing your home & life.
Always appreciate your warm, authentic, healing presence ☀️ Idea for the “I Gained The Weight Back Series”!! Would love a video along the lines of how you’ve cultivated your personal style/some of your favorite clothing pieces. I think this could fit in well with the topic of self-care and just feeling good in your body. I feel like fashion is another area where there can be a lot of pressure from what you see on social media and not necessarily what makes you feel comfortable and what suits your individual body.
Loved this video…thanks for all the ideas of places to visit in Cornwall. I’m writing down all the little villages, good walks and cafes and restaurants with vegan options. One day we’ll visit. Happy Anniversary too!❤❤
Really enjoyed this video, thank you for being authentic in a mad world. Found your pink book in Clarks Village Somerset. It was part of a murmur display.
LOVED this vlog!! It reminds me of the ones you guys used to film back in Brighton. I’m not from the uk but think the nature over there is beautiful, so it’s great to be able to see it through the eyes of the locals :)
Oh Maddie, this video was so entertaining, especially since I've never been to England (bucket list). What a beautiful tour you two gave us, and what a wonderful place to get engaged! Loved it all! 🤗
Beautiful and very enjoyable vlog ❤ you are my favourite RUclipsr. I definitely agree with the importance of being out in nature and also going to new spots and exploring on new walks/areas. Sending love from Australia 🇦🇺
Such a cute vlog! And just in time for me to watch whilst chilling on the sofa and crocheting ✨ I just went on holiday here a couple of weeks ago so I must have just missed you! X
“Look at the landslide!” “WHY would you say that” 😭💀
You and Lucy Wood are my top two content creators, it's like being with a friend, and your videos make me feel so calm. Thank you so much for all your hard work on them, I really appreciate the effort you clearly put in ❤ you and Alex deserve all the happiness in the world!!
Awww love Lucy! Thank you so much that's so kind xx
Another wonderful video, nothing better on a Sunday evening, than settling down for a comforting dose of life in Cornwall, fantastic xxx

I love the scenery, Land 'sEnd is an incredible place, great job filming!
Literally laughed out loud "look at the landslide!" as he's clearly braving an exposure therapy
Hahaha
Happy 2nd Anniversary 🥂 -thank you for taking us along on your visit to the coast - loved it!
Loved this blog and really want to see more of Cornwall. I grew up in Devon and miss the west country so much. Thank you for sharing ♥

if you’ve not tried St Eia in St Ives I highly recommend! not sure on their plant based options but they do lovely wine and coffee!!

My sister and I (from OZ) were in Cornwall / Lands End in early Sept 2023 … when the UK had the unexpected hot spell … magical place … take me back ☀️
Happy Anniversary ❤️💐❤️💐

Cornwall… the land of my content ! How lucky are we to live here ….

Love seeing your trip around Cornwall. So beautiful. Would like to see more places in Cornwall
Also the rock formation is absolutely not manmade- its all natural and mainly from the weather!
A cairn is man made! So the stacked rocks were put there in the Bronze Age. But yes the rest is from the weather
Look up geopolymer
Omg you are not mid life!!!!!
🥰

Hi, Which part of the coastal path did you walk? Thanks
Yes to more videos like this! It is so beautiful where you live.
Oh Maddie, this video was so entertaining, especially since I've never been to England (bucket list). What a beautiful tour you two gave us, and what a wonderful place to get engaged! Loved it all! 🤗
Definitely hasn’t been 2 years wtf
Yay! Perfect timing for a lovely video! Been finding your videos so comforting lately!

Did you catch that the proposal photos had the window in the background so it was the bench Maddie said it was? ;)
That was a lovely trip for you to share and YES YES YES to more like it!
Get yourself a SW coastal path wall map so you can colour in the sections as you do it 👍
Your beautiful home popped up in my magazine, it's beautiful, you're v lucky ❤
