Cool vid, man!! Thanks for being so vulnerable with your journey! And, btw, Cody has an awesome cookbook! Been loving the recipes!! Good luck, buddy!!!
I would love to see more fitness videos and nutrition videos. I know a lot about it but it would be very interesting to see it from the perspective of someone living through things I did/will. I'm starting T in 6 days and I cannot wait. I'm trying to lose weight. I'm scared the doc might not give me my shots because I'm overweight :/... But either way I really want/need to lose weight. I just discovered your channel but I'm really happy to see you doing better than in previous videos. Looking forward to seeing more. My only question for now would be... what do you typically eat in a day now ? I know you've mentioned whole foods and avoiding processed foods but could you go more into details on that ? Thank you !
Thanks for letting me know and the kind words!! And congrats on starting HRT. I will let you know that it's okay to gain some weight on hormones, in the beginning, give yourself a break if it happens your body is growing and changing so you may be more hungry than usual...but that's not an excuse to excessively eat. And for me honestly, I eat a lot of greek yogurt, high protein cereals, berries, chicken, turkey, sweet potatoes, low calorie whole wheat bread, peanut butter, protein supplements, etc. I hope to make a grocery haul and do a what I eat in a day sometime soon. I try to stick to large meals and no snacking, I like to feel full especially before I go to sleep. I just make sure to save for later on in the day as long as you keep your activity up it doesn't matter when you eat your calories. Hope that answers your question! :)
RUclips for some reason deleted my whole comment while I was correcting... Damn it. But I'll try to briefly repeat myself haha. First, thanks for your answer ! I'm looking forward to seeing the grocery haul video. It will be interesting... What you've mentioned pretty much is what I eat currently. My nutritionist would agree with your choices. :P I'm aware of the possible weight gain and appetite increase with T, but thanks for letting me know. That's useful information for someone that doesn't. I'm planning on using the extra energy to work out more than I already am. Again, thanks for replying so quickly. Cheers !
you’re awesome! i did not knew you, until i just saw your youtube channel about your transition and i just appreciate your courage and power to change yourself! kisses from brazil 🇧🇷 💕❤️
School was like that for me, too. Getting the grades was almost like an addiction for me. I put all of my self-worth into how well I did and hardly made any time for friends or family. It was fuel for my Depression and Anxiety. I've put my degree on hold for a while until my mental health improves as well. I think that happens to so many people now because there's so much pressure to get a degree and a good paying job. College wasn't made for everyone anyways. There are more jobs out there that really don't need a degree at all.
Thanks for sharing! I couldn't agree and connect with you more. It's unfortunate that our society focuses so much on a piece of paper...granted it takes a lot of work to get there and I have the most respect for people who get there but it's not the right path for everyone.
we are proud of you babe ❤❤❤❤❤
