What a wonderful piece! I rode Paris Roubaix way back in the 80's. It was one of the hardest days I ever had on a bike. Chapeau mesdames as they say, respect!!!!!
We need more energy like Alisons in this world. My favorite athlete and favorite fellow Canadian. She embodies what I love about cycling and she embodies the true Canadian spirit and work ethic.
Her victory last year was of the gutsiest performances I’ve ever seen on the bike. And somehow she seems to be able to make almost anything seem like a blast. Best energy in the tour!
What a wonderful snapshot into who Alison is! As a Canadian and a male wanting more female exposure in cycling, the world needs more Alison Jackson!!! Loved this!
Superb film Cannondale 🙌 I ❤ Paris Roubaix race so much. My fav race of the entire season. AJ’ personality is infectious, she brought a new fan base to women’s cycling and the race. Love her line… No pain in a pain au chocolate! 😂
She makes me proud to be a Canadian. When Steve Bauer was in the yellow jersey, the press called him a real worker, a "digger," and Alison is like that. Maybe it goes back to when Canada fought to liberate Europe, but Canadians have that reputation abroad, and Ms. Jackson is doing her country and her sport proud. And she's funny as hell, which is also characteristically Canadian!
It is actually called the “Hell of the North” not because of the cobbles, but rather from the team scouting the course to see if it was rideable immediately after WWI. When they got to the Northern part the area was so totally destroyed from the war they lamented it was “ the hell of the North”. The book The Monuments by Peter Cossins is a great read for learning about the races for fellow cycling nerds. Alison is such an inspiration, can’t wait to see her defend the win.
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Action J one of my all time favorites. Last year's PR win was one of the gutsiest I've seen. Any chance the gps file of this ride available? Chapeau Alison
You are a really happy girl. Love the way you live cycling. That's the way it should be. Your great person and so nice. Wish you the best. Don't think...just do💪🙂
Keep up be strong & love pushing pedals, cycling is the most exciting adventure above all, big loving hug riders, thank you giving us fans the best emotions above all 🎉❤🎉
Planning a route between two distant, unexplored places is a modern hero’s quest. One of my favorite things about road bike. It must really be fun when you have a champion’s legs. 🚴♀️
Alison's approach to life is inspiring - and what an infectious laugh ! :-) This Cannondale production is like watching a nicely produced movie . . . those bikes are nice. I can't imagine a lovelier riding companion than Alison - a genuine sweetie. BTW Alison if you see this, there are some pretty old buildings in Montreal and a section on the Island called Pierrefonds :-) Come RIDE here sometime !!!
Very nice film about this iconic race. The amazing part of pro cyclists isn’t their speed but their incredible agility on the bike and how they manage to keep the rubber on the road particularly in a race like P-R.
Great story , appreciate anyone who rides this race , I rode the 1991 amateur version when it was Steele bikes and average tyres. I remember watching her win and fist pumping the air 👊
Professional cyclists, men or women, are the toughest athletes on the planet. Glad to see that Alison made it to the top of Alp d'Huez in the latest Tour de France Femmes. Go, Alison! She makes me proud to be a Canadian. Professional cyclists also have to pack away a lot of calories - LOL! And Wow She visits Senlis in this video. I spent 4 weeks there a long time ago.
Lmao guys u wanna talk about history of the race and then u write it's called hell of the north due to weather 😂😂😂😂 no it's not because of weather. It's called like that because most of the surroundings where fucking destroyed after the war and it looked like hell.

What a lovely armchair travel for us, what an unique experience for Alison Jackson. And her victory will stand the test of times, hands down!

I can just add a thumbs up, what a shame, it deserves so much more !
There is still hope for humankind as long as there is action Jackson's in the world❤❤❤
Gave me goosebumps! Great film, great rider :)
Making us Canadians proud, Alison... fingers crossed for a second victory tomorrow.
Amazing! She's come so far, and worked so hard for it. Well done Alison!

Great insight 👍. The maple leaf on your shirt is in France always a door opener to people❤

Absolutely embarrassing that this chick is sayin about wanting to learn about a history of this race and then they write this stupid thing
Un superbe documentaire qui a été présenté en avant-première au centre minier de WALLERS ARENBERG le 1er avril 2024.
Well done. Class, simply class. Ride to the level of your smile.

Loved this! It had such a chill tone to it - but about such an epic event and accomplishment. Cant wait to see her back there this weekend! 🇨🇦💪❤️

A video with Alison Jackson and Cecilie Ludwig now that would be mental 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A+ ma grande ...
You know what they say, at least in Europe, "she'll never buy a drink again in her hometown". The chamion of Roubaix
😊😊😊
"Action Jackson"!
Man she must get asked out a lot!
By women
Alison and this video are fab but road cycling is just to dangerous and not worth the risk.
100% agree
Anyone else getting tired of her Steve Urkel dancing and nonstop smiling?
Cheer up grumpy!
😢😢😢 somebody fix that shameful cobbs😢😢😢you ruin the bicycles guys😢😢😢this is not funny
Cannondale ha riassunto esattamente tutto quello per cui amo andare in bicicletta
Lmao guys u wanna talk about history of the race and then u write it's called hell of the north due to weather 😂😂😂😂 no it's not because of weather. It's called like that because most of the surroundings where fucking destroyed after the war and it looked like hell.
