I wanna see someone use this but after crimping your hair, use sea salt spray and kind of scrunch your hair to make the waves more defined and see if it helps them hold better
I have to say I do the same method but noticed doing this horizontal it adds volume immensely fast. Hair spray and finishing spray helped me keep this curl last for a few days and just put it up in a pony and it's still curly just as before. Keep in mind my hair is longer so it takes a little longer than others who have shoulder length hair
Perfect timing! I bought this waver 2 weeks ago and used it once--I waved the underneath sections and curler the top section, I didn't love it. Can't wait to see the next video!

Thanks so much for doing this tutorial! I just ordered the bed head waver so wanted to watch a how to video. It looks super easy, quite excited to try mine when it arrives tomorrow! Hopefully it comes out as well as yours did :)
I love this tool!! I alternate that with curls as well and it looks pretty natural!! Also, if you use the flat side on your layers that should help make it look more natural
@Julianna Marshall yes, both. I got it down now, i don't leave the plates closed together too long and i ad finish oil to my hair ends when done and it looks better
Tell me why my dumbass literally glided it through my hair thinking there was something wrong with the wavier. I literally straighten my hair with it and called it a day 😂. Now I know to clamp, slide and clamp again 🤦♀️
What product do you use to help keep the curls? I have very fine hair but it's also very thick. The weight pulls the curls out so fast! I can't seem to find a product that will hold the curls without looking like hair gel. lol
I'm made I came across your vlog i tried it twice I hated now now seeing you do it and red did now I came out better. And I did my bangs and I love it 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank god I found this video. I just purchased one of these devices and I ended up with both flat and frizzy hair. I'll give it another go using your tips. Thank you!!
Did you get rid of the frizz? After four days of trying mine I've had one nice hair day with it! The body is great, but it's so dry looking and frizzy!
I got one recently off Amazon. I don't like it. My hair is normally wave but I used it on my straighten hair. I'm returning it. My hair looks better with my natural waves. Plus this did make my hair frizzy. So back it went.
I have let my hair go naturally grey so it has some wave and texture but one side more than the other and I used this the first time today. It was perfect. I has waves all over my head and I didn’t get the weird kink lines I think be use my hair it not smooth and sleek like yours. I have to use a straightener to get that affect.
Great video this helped me a lot, I bought it and will be here any day I was hesitate and thought before it gets here I should educate myself. Thank you
Misty Scheidt put a lot of leave in conditioner in your hair before using the iron, and then when you’re done, run some hair oils through your hair with your fingers
+e s most likely you aren’t holding it long enough! If you kinda go through it quickly, it will look poofy instead of wavy! Make sure to hold for at least 5 seconds
That’s funny you say that . I’m watching these videos because I just got it and only used it once . One side of my head came out perfect. The other side , not so much . I felt like it wasn’t even waving it , just making it frizzy .
Material Girl it took some time to get the knack of it, but now I love it! By the end of the day, it’s usually frizzy, but it takes a while to get that way. It works best when my hair is clean. I experimented with different size sedition’s of hair and leave it on maybe 10 seconds per section.
Do you recommend small sections of hair? I have a lot of hair so used medium size pieces and looked okay, a little frizzy towards the end of the day. But it did hold all day.
@@LaurenFrancesHair Thank you! I just bought this tool and I'm really loving it. Thank you for your tutorial, it helped me so much because I am a novice at styling hair! 😅
Thank you for this tutorial. I JUST got this Bed Head Deep Waver a few days ago. I tried it but didn’t read the instructions or view a tutorial so I had some user error hair. I appreciate the tips you have given. I have a few of questions: 1. How long does it need to preheat before use? 2. Does it work better on freshly washed hair or on day 2 or 3? 3. Does dry shampoo affect the results? Thank you again. I appreciate this.
Alison Dill hey! I’d give it about at least two min to heat up. It all depends on your hair type typically as a stylist I like to start with clean hair and I can always add texture with product if needed. Once it’s too full of product it’s no good!
Thank you so much, Lauren!! I went to church over the weekend and got sooo many compliments INCLUDING one from my stylist! I even overheard some ladies talking abput hpw much they liked my hair!! I loved the volume the waver gave me. Your tutorial and advice was a huge success for me!! Thank you!!

😂 happened to me like the first 10 times I did it. If you read the instructions they recommend a hair spray before to lessen the frizz but look for a heat protecting spray with hold and believe me it'll work.

OMG, I totally love this! I have very thin, long hair.. I split it into 2 pieces 8 squeezes from top to bottom. 5 minutes. WOW!
Can i see a picture of your hair after
When I do mine and I do the top of my hair I put the flat side up that and you won't have that bump there

if you have thick hair and you don,t want to much volume you can just crimp the top. you don,t have to crimp the whole hair.
I think that would make my hair just look “creased”. My hair is just above my shoulders so I don’t think it’s long enough
