Im not sure on the “case” sprays or shit you get from a capsule, but the dropped sprays (1g, oh no…, i am dead etcetc) can actually be better than some grey drops.

I think there was more serious issue You could spray them on glass, and they would be visible on one side, but wouldn't be from the other, and that could create sone oneways, most memorable example is CT spawn house on office

btw graffiti still works like this, on cache ct side, if you go to z & in the corner outside of z (near sandbags but in the corner next to z) theres a spot your model can duck in, you go there spray a graffiti & a couple rounds later you sit in the spot and crouch, people will awp on boost & mid and walk right past you and not notice. ive also noticed this once before on overpass, I remember vsing a guy who was putting sprays around A bomb site & in the corner of truck, he would then sit in that small pixel spot watching short infront of the graffiti. it was so hard to spot if it was a model or not 9/10 times you'd spam it and he wasn't there.
I didn't understand what he meant either but there are certain spots, for example on overpass banana where you can line up a smoke using a sign. If you apply a graffiti to the sign it's not possible to get the correct line up for that smoke anymore.
