I can really appreciate Taeyeon’s voice and have since Girl Generation’s more active days (and I was mostly a Blackjack..a 2NE1 fan), it’s so gorgeous and I never get tired of this song! 😆 Another soloist from the group is Tiffany Young (a Korean American). Listen to her songs as well! Another long time soloist is BoA. She’s the one that got me into KPop through her JPop discography and has been around for decades now!

Taeyeon is a goddess. Her range is actually not that large, about 2 and a half octaves if I recall correctly. But with Tae, it's all about the nuances. She has a depth and passion to her vocals that are second to none. I could listen to her sing the Seoul Telephone Directory and I'd be perfectly happy. Taeyeon Kim is probably the greatest voice to come out of Asia. You really do need to check out more of her solo stuff, WHY is my favorite. Also, her power vocals for Girls’ Generation will punch you in the face! Her sub-unit stuff with TTS (Taeyeon-Tiffany-SeoHyun) and Oh! GG (Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yoona)...excellent. Just really good stuff!
