Çiğdem Temur not really -- I have taught thousands of people and have never seen or heard of anyone passing out from inverting in aerial - this a demonstration of different moves put together in a montage like format. It's not meant to be copied exactly. How you practice aerial and yoga is your choice - but, I feel comfortable at this pace. Thanks for your comment!
does anyone know if someone with no expeirence in yoga wild be able to do this? I've done almost 6 months of pilates, but I also want to try yoga... idk??
I would say take a few regular yoga classes first for sure, you can probably physically pull it off but you will have a lot better knowledge of breath and alignment for the poses so you can better translate it to the silks.
Helena Petříková -- It's a fusion of aerial silks art with yoga moves - it transfers many of the traditional yoga poses from a Vinyasa flow class into the aid of a silk hammock as a prop (much like a block, bolster, or strap makes poses more accessible for many) -- it ctually makes many yogic movements either more accessible, can be therapeutic for those with limited movement due to injury, and can also help deepen a pose with the use of the fabric and gravity. There is an art to it. To say it's not in common with yoga depends on your definition of yoga, I guess.
Kama Fitness Thank you for your answer. I am fascinated how people are inventive. There is always something which can you suprised. Is it usual tempo? Thank you, Helen

Can I ask you what music you used for the video? Absolutely love it!
This is beautiful. That must be an advanced sequence. I noticed some yoga poses from my beginner knowledge. How fun this would be!!
Thank you-- it has pieces from our more intermediate to advanced skills. I'm glad you liked it :)

Why is it called yoga? It has nothing in common

Kama Fitness Thank you for your answer. I am fascinated how people are inventive. There is always something which can you suprised. Is it usual tempo? Thank you, Helen
Helena Petříková It is not -- this is a demo made for a 3 minute RUclips video clip -- so I am moving through the poses VERY quickly
