IF you have better pronunciation in English, just upload it and let us judge it fairly here.. As far as I concern, even though one singer's mother tongue is English, we can't really 100% catch the words when they're singing.. It's all about accent.. Shila has hers too.. American, British, Australian, Chinese, Indian, Malaysian or even African have a different accent.. How can we say that their pronunciation is bad while infact ours are not perfect either.. So, just listen to this song without being so much prejudice.. Otherwise, please get a life..

Adele is an unbelievable singer, her voice is so powerful and soulful, but this performance brings it up a notch. Shila, made it her song, in her own way, with her own amazing style .....................and truly, she is fantastic.
Most peoples seem to against her English. I think her English is good if not better than some of you who complained. She is a STAR, she had her style of singing, We should not take side in this contest. Who could sing like her? She had the audience in stitches.. They enjoyed the show, it is her showmanship. that pulled the audience and make the show come to live. When you are going for alive show, the most important is the connection between the singer and the audience. Shila, you are a rising star, keeping singing more mandarin songs, and we you will be great. Hollywood is your final destination. I remembered Anita Sarawak, you are almost her standard. She always had the audience in stitch. because there was a connection between her, as a singer and the audience.

I find out one interesting thing, bias between culture is quite significant among fans, I only can speak on behalf of my personal opinion, as I have been listening so many singers among our part of World.Pretty sure Shila is World Class, her English pronunciation is crystal clear, her stage performance is excellent, and as an individual person, fill with talent, but yet with a humble heart. We are lucky to have GEM and Shila in the same stage, no matter what is the outcome within this competition, they are Diva, Can we use a humble heart to appreciate their performance?
I love China and i have many Chinese friends here. Indeed i learn Chinese language because I want to be friend with them. About the incident, I felt sorry as Im Malaysian. I agree, watching this in sept 2016 for i dont know how many times. She certainly arranged the song to suit a more exciting performance. And judging by the way, not only the audience but also the backup singers and musicians reacted, she nailed it😘
The combination of all the musicians and backup singers of this version by Shila was simply amazing. Everybody seemed to be really enjoying and having a lot of fun doing this piece; from the drummer, the guitarists, the bassist, the keyboardist and right up to the backup singers....they all seemed so immersed in the aura of Shila voice and the way it was presented....and that is real ENTERTAINMENT!
Her English is amazing. She is from Malaysia, and it doesn't take a genius to realize that she may have an accent. She can sing really well in her own style and is a really kind person. Shut up and enjoy the music ... because that's what really matters anyways.
