Nice. I got a Klopfenstein stand up at it treadle about a year ago. Very different from and I like it better than my rickety old momentum kick wheel. Not ready to give up the electric yet and I think it's improved my skills with it. Fun going back and forth. Congratulations on the treadle.
I have only ever thrown on one of these and now have two of them. I too am lefthanded. I centre that way but throw right handed and trim left. I learned to throw right handed because the movement on the left side to treadle made it difficult to keep that side of my body still enough to anchor my left arm sufficiently to make the fine movements required to throw, as a beginner. I can throw any old way now, but it is was damned hard to learn on one of these as a leftie. I look forward to trying an electric wheel.
Love it. Nice wheel. NB I bet the pop noise from the kiln was my sign exploding 😂
😅

Firstly thanks for watching. Using the leach wheel really helped my skill on all the wheels. Need more time on it though.
