I'm a bit disappointed with some of the arguments here. One is America= the world. To say that there are no countries in the world where people are as conscientious and responsible as the Japanese people are is highly inaccurate and shows a lack of world knowledge, not experience. Another one is the lack of flexibility in thinking. This is how a Japanese company works and all of you foreign people who supposedly bring diversity to it shall conform and follow the rules! It's almost funny but mostly sad. I do wish everyone success in their businesses but I hope they keep learning from the world.
