I find long drives quite enjoyable, too. 5-7 hours just me, the road, and some tunes (sometimes)...I miss that a lot.

I drove part of the way past Puerto Armuelles (can’t pronounce it either). It was during intense rain at that time so I turned back. Looks nice from the drone ☺️

Just what I needed. It's 26 degrees and expecting sleet, ice and snow in central Texas. Not our usual weather. Your drive and all that greenery was serene to this Texas girl. Plus I love the beach. It's my happy place.

I didn't even know there were such things as solar farms - that was super interesting. I'm glad you found your way to your destination (glorious ocean) and that your drive helped you think. I cannot wait to live within driving distance of the ocean after living in a double landlocked country for ten years. Thank you for the beautiful images and inspiration.

Storms destroyed the pier years ago, but they are planning to rebuild it.
@@Joe-qv6jh True I spent a summer there in the early 80s when I was a teenager. We were took an all day boat ride starting from that pier. Beautiful place, many, tiger sharks, and the natives came out to greet us from further down the coast in canoes. I'm sure it's a lot different now. I wanted to stay.

You want to try driving and when you arrive where ever it is and someone ask you how was your drive? I so proud to say, good thank you I had no thought... I learnt a technic to not think when driving, having no thought is just the best... of course you have a dualalty staying aware of your driving... but having no thought is mediation... really meditation... observing, not thinking and not labelling.... a oneness arrives and you are so fresh when you stop...

Hey Rich, two things about this vlog are amongst what I do on crap days... Driving us definitely high on the self protection list though my car is at risk of killing my driver's licence. Speeding is very frowned upon in England. The other, Covid permitting, is to head to Panama! Not complicated but the one place in the world to shut off the white noise of the rest of my life! Looking forward to what next!

Hi Richard, I had a question about your ride. did you recently change it? and how do you get around with adding so much mileage, and gas. Do you have lease, rent, or buy; those Toyota's are really expensive here, and how did you end up with a FJ? How are you doing now, is RUclips helping to sustain you and your adventures? Are you still grounded in Panama or can you you leave out, and do you want to leave/when/why/why not? I've been a fan from Jordan, Kaylee, and Rodrigo and the family; and have been following all the videos uploaded. Now that you are full time RUclipsr how's it truly working out for you? With covid still on the rise how do you really manage being on your own away from loved one's for so long, and faced with all these limitations and set backs?
