Kani is such a soul with unique feelings... Who doesnt cares abt d society norms... Nd leaving peacefully and implementing her own rules to her life... Such a wonderful inrerview... Loved it
The moment I saw that this interview have 5 parts, I decided that I will watch the whole thing in a single go. But my mind lose the control and Im watching before 5th part. That's ok, because 5th part will just have card game. 😅 .... Great choice Dhanya, I really admire the way Kani was brought up and the way she carry herself. Happiness is always and is sans any ‘thing ‘ ! There’s happiness in marriage and outside marriage and marriage is not any driving factor. Institutionalising anything only leads to binding ! The paradox is humans institutionalise ‘things’ to bring security, happiness and trust when the same institutions bind them from exploring the full potential of just ‘being’ness. Society is only a set of norms that is on repeat mode which started from that ‘original sin’ , that sin based on psychological biases like consensus bias, bandwagon effects. People are driven towards such institutions for they fear themselves being left out by the majority as seen from Dhanya‘s questioning too. The history has time and again proven that the majority is always clueless (even in a democracy ). So why give undue weightage to institutions? Use institutions for your purpose rather that it use you for its sake !
Kani seem like a very lovely human being with a broad and progressive mindset. And ofcourse a versatile actress too. One of the best danyavarmma interviews ever!!
