The Land Pride QH05 Quick Hitch will make it even easier to hook up your implements. In most cases you can hook up to your implements without getting off the tractor.
I'm a little late to the game seeing these but I purchased them from Messicks just 2 days ago and they arrived this morning. Installation took less than 15 minutes and the quality is absolutely first rate! The fact that they are locally made too made this one an easy choice. Thanks for recommending these Neil.
Neat. I lost count of how many bent rods I replaced by not tightening them up with a heavy implement (like a snow blower) on the back. I've since learned to tightend them up, but the new sway bars look great and the price isn't bad.
These adjustable sway bars look great Neil, I can’t wait to get a set for my BX. It’s always great to see company’s not only working together with other company’s but to see them take such pride in their work.. making sure they are a true, smooth, perfect fit takes a lot of trial and error and it’s good to see you guys perfect it the way you did before mass producing them. Keep up the great work Messicks!
Honestly, for the design and quality that goes into those, I think the price is more than fair! Wish they had been available almost 20 years ago when I bought my BX! Great idea!
I just bought a pair of these from them and I absolutely love them!. I have a RUclips channel and I will be doing a full review on them. Thank you so much!
I bought two pairs. One for my 2380 and the other for my 23S. They make a huge difference pulling a landpride rototiller . Very noticeable stability, no sway anymore. they go on very easy too, as advertised . Big thanks ! 5 stars Neil !!
Very cool. Just bought one. I have always had my Backhoe on but this year decided to get a rear snow blade to complement my front loader snow removal method. This will make attaching this and other implements much easier.
I have a set of these made by Mark Hodge and a Pats Quick hitch. I absolutely love the combination. It completely changed my 3 point hitch. FYI I also got a pto extension so I can run the pto implements with the Pats
Great upgrade! I ordered mine from Messicks and received it literally the next day ! Bought one for my BX 23S and one for my 2380 ! Great parts department service.
Ordering mine right now...don't have the BX yet, but starting to get things for it as I think about accessories, implements, and attachments I will use.
Hi Neil ! *wow* ! I've now seen a few videos showcasing this amazing upgrade ! 👍 One day I hope to get my hands on a set of those ! *they are awesome ! Wow !* 👍
Heyhey Neil I was so pleasantly surprised to find these on my B2601 when I bought it. Coming from the old school farm tractors I wasn't expecting something so nice. Nice job
How refreshing to see something American made with a goal of high quality. As a consumer thais all I need to hear, I am so tired of the poor quality Chinese trash.. I am in the market for a new Small BX series tractor this summer. These sway bars will be one of my upgrades.
Neil love the channel even though I’m a green guy! Found you from TTWT. You should make these for 1025r and 2025r too. You could double your profits as many people buy green and orange tractors alike!!! Sweet high quality product and best of luck with this new venture!
I have it and it makes life soooo much easier. Glad you guys started making some for all the BX customers. Waiting list for them privately made is long. Great video Neil
Been hooking up 3 pt implements for 30+ years. Have a quick hitch now and wouldn't do without. Had to modify one older implement, but it was a once and done. For those looking at a quick hitch note that a hydraulic top link does make hook up easier. So in my case my tractor (MX6000) came with telescoping stabilizers and extendable arm ends that I will never use. I would rather have had side mirrors and a right hand outside door handle included. Some manufactures standard equipment combinations don't make sense to me.
These look really nice, and a great improvement in ease of adjustment. That being said, I put a quick hitch on my BX, so once I got them adjusted, I'll never adjust them again. They can rust in place. I know the next question will be, what if your implement doesn't work with your quick hitch? I'll modify the implement so that it does. It is well worth the trouble.
Turn buckles work better with a quick hitch you can get them tighter and there is no slop. Holes in the slide type don't always line up so you have slop that will keep getting worse as it wears.
That is true. While there are a lot of adjustment holes you typically have to choose a position that is somewhere between "too tight and the pin won't go in" and "a bit too loose at the next hole". For most implements the tiny amount of slop shouldn't cause any issues. There are a lot of tractors that come with this style of stabilizer from the factory.
Great idea to make theses a dealer / parts accessory. Bought the Hodges version years ago but I know he doesn’t always offer them or maybe even stopped selling them on TBN. Worst part about the turnbuckles is they don’t stay open when you back into an implement. Wouldn’t be without mine.
Great idea as turnbuckles are a pain when they get older. I was surprised by one of your comments below that you are only doing them for Kubota. I thought you might do it for your New Holland brand. By the way, I did appreciate your response on my question with tractor time with Tim in regards to the similarities between New Holland and the LS brand. I guess you're waiting for Tim and Christy to get that orange machine videoed more! Lol lol seriously, they bought a really good model in your Kubota line and I am curious on how they are going to use your custom power beyond accessory.
Jim, is your NH one of the models made by LS? If it is you can probably get a set to fit your tractor from LS if NH doesn't offer them. My LS MT2 25E came standard with them, so it might be worth checking into. If not then maybe these made for Messick's will work, they look top notch and the price is more than fair. Either way, best of luck.
The pto bottom plate needed to be turned upside down in my case so that the pto wouldn’t catch and hit on it while spinning. Just FYI if you have that problem remove the pin and cotter pin that holds that plate and turn it so that the long side of the plate is on the bottom and reinsert the pin and cotter pin. Would have been nice to include this in installation instructions.
These look a heck of a lot easier buy my concern is aren't the stock turnbuckles made to be the weak point? If I'm cruising along, hit a tough root, I would rather these break before my implement or something even more expensive on my tractor.
too bad you didn’t implement the elongated center hole like on the B3030 sway bars. useful to give the 7’ blade some swing so it can move a bit, makes for a smoother ride
Neil, I assume this won’t be a surprise but they also fit my GC-1705. I bought it assuming the geometry would be close enough and it fits perfectly. Great upgrade!
I have a pair installed. You will have to flip over the flap piece upside down to allow your pto female of your implement that slides on the tractor pto shaft not to hit when you lift up on the implement.
That caliper style adjustment honestly surprised me. Great idea for more adjustment nuance than 2 inches between holes. Only issue is don't the nice ones on bigger tractors give you a solid and a move space for attachments that need a little sway?
These bars are awesome but the pins could definitely be better. I replaced mine with some push pins that can easily be removed when changing the attachments. I think you should really considering changing them. Other than that, these are fantastic!
These look great and I appreciate the work, effort and local manufacturing that went into them. I have two questions. Am I the only one who has no trouble with the turnbuckles? And, the way the holes are, it seems there would be some slack and sway in the implements since you can't really tighten them like the turnbuckles.
My 2005 old blue came with this option. Now I'm dreaming of the ultimate hook-up. Hydraulic Top Link and Hydraulic Spread / Close Between the 2 Lower links. SDH the Great Unknown in CT
The turnbuckle has an infinite positioning for nice tight hold. Have you ever found yourself with the hole just a little bit off? Not tight enough so that it slops around?
These look well made, but not something I really need. I put a quick hitch on my BX years ago, so no need to readjust my stabilizers when changing attachments.
How compatible is your quick hitch? I'm on the fence about buying one right now for my BX. The implements/attachments I am getting are Kubota/Landpride brand.
Neil I was wondering if I could get the most compressed pinned length from center to center on the mounting holes, and the most extended pinned length. I was hoping to adapt your nice stabilizers to my tractor.
Hi Neil I enjoy all your videos. Concerning telescopic stabilizers. Not sure who makes this product but a while back I bought a set of Hodge Stabilizers (they look very similar to the ones shown in your video) only to discover that the squared-off ends interfered with a few of my implements, specifically my LandPride landscape rake and my Salsco chipper. I tried to file off there corners of the stabilizer bar ends but was unable to remove enough material without compromising structural integrity. Of course, having modified them, I couldn't return them so off they went to the scrap yard. I called Mr Hodge to explain my problem and was told that I wasn't the first person to have interference problems. Just wondering if you tried using these with a variety of implements? Thanks for reading.
Nice kit. Not expensive for what you are getting. Any in the pipeline for "other" SCUTs? Paticularly those that turnbuckle the 3 point hitch from the outside? LOL! Thanks for sharing!
Neil you need to mention the longest and shortest length these have at the attachment pin holes please. I have another sub compact brand tractor and want to buy these for it.
What i need is a how-to video on the three point hitch kit. I got a cardboard box full of parts from my dealer and a parts list. The paper in it was destroyed by a mouse so i have no idea how to assemble the kit. The parts are all sitting in a 5 gallon pail and no idea how they are supposed to be assembled. Kinda turning me off Kubota seeing this kind of thing. But i have all winter to figure it out before i need it for my rototiller.

I smell a new install video! Now how to work the drone into this one🤔
@@davidparadis490 Haha, working in the drone may be a bit tough but I’ll have to see what I can do🤔

Just installed mine today. Very nice improvement over standard turnbuckles.
💥 Very cool Neil!
*Keep on tractoring!* 👍
This upgrade is great - - No sway with no sweat.
Just seen this video. Looks like a great product. Just placed an order. Can't wait for the delivery. Love your videos Neil. Keep them coming.

Smart addition to Messick’s Parts Neil!
I ordered a set from M Hodge several years ago to go with Pat’s Easy Change for my BX25D
Nice! A much needed mod that was hard to get your hands on.
Thanks Neil, got pair on the way along with a TerraKing Grass catcher system.

Awesome, thank you!
I added these to a Ford 4610 SU that I had. My T4.75 and current 4610 Ford AP has them. Great addition to the little BX.
Awesome price point. Must have for someone that changes implements with different hitch widths.

Ordered before the video even finished. Cannot wait to get these things in to use.
Just placed an order for them. It's going to be so much easier. Thanks for posting all the great vids. Wish you were my local dealer.
Sold out... not surprising since you’ve hit the nail on the head with MY complaint about the OEM turnbuckles.

I use a 19mm ratcheting wrench with a slot in it that I purchased on line for under $30. That way there is zero movement when I use my rototiller
