Joe ,I enjoy your videos you are truly lucky to have a friend and mentor in Donny , He is what I like to say a one call gets it all man.... His experience is priceless. Enjoy your friendship I know you do. All the Best to both of you.
Your so lucky to get to spend time with donny, great man and mentor!! Another great video joe, cherish your time with donny, ain't many left like him god bless my friend 🙏
I put reflective 3m tape on my sled that I built after watching you videos. Absolutely love it. Mine is off a jetsled magnum. The sides I made 12" all the way around
I hope Donnie is smart enough no to sleep in that. 🤣😂 Looking good Joe! Hoping for strong ice. I can tell by the way Donnie holds that pencil in his mouth that this isn’t his first rodeo. Let Donnie know I need one also
Great job love when two buds help each other out makes the job more enjoyable. Really think you should put your utube logo on the sides. Have a great day
Sell lures to hard attach onto that thing. I'd pay 25 bucks to have a lure attached to support the channel! Would look like a lure Christmas tree after a year 😂😂😂
Great video. I built one of these last winter for my jumbo jet sled and love it. I used string reinforced clear poly, from a job site, and made a fitted cover as well. Great for bad weather fishing or camping. Finally have some ice here in Vermont!!
Great instructional video - woodworking with Donnie, I'd label it J. Holland Fishing Expeditions. Keep the videos coming they are always entertaining and appreciated!
Thanks for making these kinds of videos! Im sure more than a few of us have had some extra time at the start of this ice season to do DIY projects like this waiting for good ice. Was out this weekend on 4-5 of okay ice in 5 feet of water but the perch/bluegill bite was slow or non existent really. Just gotta keep at it and be safe most of all
Thinking the 2x4 trim Al the way around would be a good idea to give a lip for a cover to catch on . Great idea sure gives a lot more space. You should definitely advertise your channel on the sled. 👍
Joe you've gotta name that Sled 🛷 " Triple H " , ( the " Holland Hole Hoppa !!! " , Great video Brotherman , and when you get a chance please send us some Ice just a little South of Heaven. Be Safe from Boston 💪💪💪 🇺🇸
Nice work. Built one a few years back for my jet sled and would never have anything less moving forward. I built trim around the top, which allows my XL cover to stay snug. Again, nice job. It’s fun to see you and Donnie interact
Great Job. Could you cut a couple of wings out of the plywood scraps, paint them silver and screw them on the back so it looks like a Shasta trailer! Then I will know it's you headed up lake on West Grand.
That's awesome! I was thinking I need a bigger sleigh for all my gear but adding sides may be all I really need. I think that would work. Thanks for sharing this how to video.
Awesome stuff Joe! I think you could stiffen the back and front with a 2x4 on the insides. I wonder if a hinge on the rear might make it easier to get things in and out 🤔
I was thinking about building one of these when I decided to upgrade to the otter pro large. Then I hauled my large up into the trailer when full. Couldn’t imagine having twice as much stuff in there! Must be heavy as all get out! That being said, my pack basket was able to slide out from under the cover on our way back this weekend. Total yard sale.
i have the otter resort i think its the large sled, its damn near impossible to load by myself in my trailer if its loaded for ice camping lol. ill put the snowmobile first then ill use it to grab onto and pull myself and the otter up 🤣
@@ohnij3d221 I loaded my snowmobile first too, but then found myself stuck in the front of the trailer deciding whether to take the access window out the front, tromp over the loaded sled, or fling myself over the snowmobile to the side door. 🤣🤣
I saw on another video you are running the pivot hitches from otter how are they with the Brandon box? Considering building one and not sure if it'll be OK with the pivot hitch.
Nice! You could put a 2x2 on the front and back panel and put them on the inside of them that’s probably what I would do. And Donnie is right you should put your logo on it it would look really awesome with it on there also put built by Donnie and Joe.
I have the large sled also and on each of the rear corners I put a small strip of red reflective DOT tape so when someone is following me it actually looks like red tail lights. Just for safety..
You should do a mod to this and mount a battery box inside with a small dakota lithium battery and mount led lightstrips inside and outside with a switch for night fishing…
If you ever. Have. To make another brandon box 1. Thing you could. Do is either cut another 2×4 in the outside like. You did and use that to hold your ice scoop on the side of. Your sled
Why not rip treated 5/4 or deck boards an go all way around both sides an ends top an bottom an screw that o sled would stiffen an strengthen it for lasting an durability
Joe ,I enjoy your videos you are truly lucky to have a friend and mentor in Donny , He is what I like to say a one call gets it all man.... His experience is priceless. Enjoy your friendship I know you do. All the Best to both of you.
He’s incredible im very lucky to have him as a friend !!
That job calls for some hot black coffee and one of his donut’s. 😂
truth
Your so lucky to get to spend time with donny, great man and mentor!! Another great video joe, cherish your time with donny, ain't many left like him god bless my friend 🙏

"Like O.J.'s glove." LMFAO! 🤣🤣
ha
Find a better guy than Donny anywhere....YA CANT!!! Fricken love that guy. All the best from WI.
Truth !
This is great, I have never heard of a Brandon Box before. Now I want one! Think of all the extra gear I can bring fishing! 😁
You should! So much extra gear!
I love this because the 2 of you didn't need to really talk to know what the next step was, that's true craftsmanship. Joe Holland fishing logo😉
Thank you.
I put reflective 3m tape on my sled that I built after watching you videos. Absolutely love it. Mine is off a jetsled magnum. The sides I made 12" all the way around
That is awesome!
THANK YOU! I have watched many of your videos to sort the details how this was constructed!
You're very welcome!
That’s an awesome collection of axes!
For sure thanks
Great project. Anyways good seeing Donnie. 🍩
so true
Donnie such a great guy !
The best
I hope Donnie is smart enough no to sleep in that. 🤣😂
Looking good Joe! Hoping for strong ice.
I can tell by the way Donnie holds that pencil in his mouth that this isn’t his first rodeo.
Let Donnie know I need one also
He's definitely way smarter than me.
Great job love when two buds help each other out makes the job more enjoyable. Really think you should put your utube logo on the sides. Have a great day
thank you.
You guys work so well together. Great job.
Thanks so much!
Very nice
I’ll have to build one after the season my dad would love it
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure thank you.
A Brandon Box? It’s so nice of you to support our President Joe Biden. Nice work bub 👍
Haha, no it’s named after my Buddy who created it first. Brandon.
Thank you very much for this video. I just got lumber to build this and was planning on starting this weekend. I'm going to add a lid to mine.
Glad I could help
Thanks for the info Joe, Love watching the videos with you and Donnie!
Thanks Buddy! Someday we will fish together I hope!
Funny was just thinking about making one last night!! Thanks for the video!! Tight lines and tall flags!!!
Have fun! Thank you,.
Sell lures to hard attach onto that thing. I'd pay 25 bucks to have a lure attached to support the channel! Would look like a lure Christmas tree after a year 😂😂😂
hahah thanks I love it
That was a fun video! I have a large pro otter but will wait and see if I need more capacity. Like a glove both ways! 😂
It more than triples capacity believe it or not.
Great video. I built one of these last winter for my jumbo jet sled and love it. I used string reinforced clear poly, from a job site, and made a fitted cover as well. Great for bad weather fishing or camping. Finally have some ice here in Vermont!!
Very cool!

For sure, if you use the right sized cover a lip is perfect, Im over size and it goes over the entire box.
Wish old man Joe…I’d do as he says with the RUclips logo!!
sounds good
@@JoeHollandFishing “wise old man Joe” damn autocorrect
I think your on to something here! So many people would buy this all prebuilt and ready to just put on their sled!
very true!
Joe you need a Milwaukee sponsorship lol
that would be awesome
joe, you are lucky to have a friend like him
clamshack
Incredibly grateful

Right on thank you
Well worth the wait thanks so much great video
Thank you.
Great job on the Brandon box. Good idea on the logo. You two are a pair that a full house couldn’t beat. 🦞👍🏻😉
Thank you!
Just do it! Joe Holland Fishing and RUclips logo!
Good idea!!
Great Job. Could you cut a couple of wings out of the plywood scraps, paint them silver and screw them on the back so it looks like a Shasta trailer! Then I will know it's you headed up lake on West Grand.
hahah, good call.
Joe Thank you! I remember asking about this last year on the IG!
Happy to help!
YES! a Donny video!
absolutely!
That's awesome! I was thinking I need a bigger sleigh for all my gear but adding sides may be all I really need. I think that would work. Thanks for sharing this how to video.
Thank you, This adds a ton more storage.
Love it! Sharing some knowledge!
So glad!
Awesome video guys
Thanks
Awesome stuff Joe! I think you could stiffen the back and front with a 2x4 on the insides. I wonder if a hinge on the rear might make it easier to get things in and out 🤔
Possibly! thank you

The sides and the cover are anti-yard saleable , without a roll over.
I would paint the inner sides white or light gray so at night you can see better inside to store things and pack up with your flashlight.
Not a bad idea thanks.
Put on the Joe Holland logo on it! Or slayer. Lol
Nice!!!
Thanks Joe and Donnie, great job. Your in the same boat as us in PA, not really good ice, more work on your gear than fishing
You bet thanks
cool idea man
Thank you, Got it from my buddy Brandon!
I saw on another video you are running the pivot hitches from otter how are they with the Brandon box? Considering building one and not sure if it'll be OK with the pivot hitch.
Works fine you just cant flip the pivots up and over backwards like you would if there was no box.
Think it should be all signatures again like last year's meet and greet
I like it!
great video..thank you!! i've been waiting for this for a long time!!! awesome..
thanks bud
You should show if you run tandem otter sleds when you’re towing your gear. Putting a rear connection to have two otter sled behind skidoo
I do run tandem. Just an I bolt through the back as a new hitch.
Nice! You could put a 2x2 on the front and back panel and put them on the inside of them that’s probably what I would do. And Donnie is right you should put your logo on it it would look really awesome with it on there also put built by Donnie and Joe.
That's a great idea!
Man, a guy could sleep in that sled! 😉
Definitely follow Donnie's ideer

What do you think total weight empty is?
Not a lot maybe fifty
I have the large sled also and on each of the rear corners I put a small strip of red reflective DOT tape so when someone is following me it actually looks like red tail lights. Just for safety..
Great call! Thanks.
I think you mentioned in one of your prior videos that there was a certain Otter cover size that fits better on the Brandon box then the large?
I am pretty sure it's their largest flip over but I am still trying to find it for sure.
Found it! It’s the Resort size cover. 25:57 of Why I Slept in My Tote Sled : Wilderness Native
Brook Trout Fishing video
Story time !!! Donnie’s missing finger tip ???
Yes! Next series with him I will let him tell it.
You should name it like a boat on the back, Hole Chaser, Flag's R Us, Hard Water Hound, Auger Dragger...
I love it!
With that big sled it's big enough to sleep in if you ever needed emergency shelter.
True, Did you see the episode I slept in it?
Your local Bait shops and businesses stickers and your logo of course
true
So the idea of this is to be able to haul more gear? How’d it get its name?
exactly, Named after my Buddy Brandon from my videos. He intro'd me to it.
Now you just need Mardens to sponsor you and put their logo on it.
True
Would 2 by 2s work as well
That’s what I used
Ok I thought. Donnie ripped a 2×4 in half
You should do a mod to this and mount a battery box inside with a small dakota lithium battery and mount led lightstrips inside and outside with a switch for night fishing…
So true
Awsum!!!!!!!!! “;-)”🎣
Thanks
If you ever. Have. To make another brandon box 1. Thing you could. Do is either cut another 2×4 in the outside like. You did and use that to hold your ice scoop on the side of. Your sled
I have an ice scoop holder, thank you.
Thanks. For. Not minding I said something
Sorry, what is a Brandon Box?
It's the sides that more than triple the amount of gear you can bring, Named after my Buddy Brandon that first made it.
You’re awesome man I love you but I’m not gay bigcatmatt fishing in Minnesota
thank you.
Put your sign on it
Sounds good!
Lets Go Brandon.
Nice
Hope you did as Donnie said, he was right…..
Donnie is always right !
LETS GO BRANDON
true
Listen to Donnie name and logo

Great lookin build fella's 👌
Glad you like it thanks.
Why not rip treated 5/4 or deck boards an go all way around both sides an ends top an bottom an screw that o sled would stiffen an strengthen it for lasting an durability
no need to add the extra weight or material and time. Its rugged
